FIFA 13 WiiU Screenshots

It's missing effects from the other versions in terms of graphics.I hate sports games and I'm not interested in this game.This is a quick and dirty port everyone.

Current gen graphics and the touch pad is a bad gimmick that is completely unnecessary. Yup, that's the Wii U alright.

I comparing it to the fifa12 shots posted in this thread.Those shots look a bit brighter compared to the fifa13 WiiU shots posted in this thread.I don't know if that has something to do with the weaker hardware in the PS3 and 360 or not.

No, they resemble end of gen consoles because they are direct ports with added controller support.

I think the WiiU version of the game may end up being better then the other versions in terms of graphics, but these screenshots are kinda bad.

It's FIFA. It's not changed since the PS1 games, and has always been crap graphically. Wasn't expecting much, wasn't disappointed.spike6958

- footage you see is unfinished software on early hardware
- all details discussed during FIFA gameplay have been revealed already
- FIFA a launch title for Wii U

So they finished the controls, but the overall game isn't done yet, so I guess it's polishing time before the release date

FIFA 12 on my PC w/FXAA still looks better, but nobody plays FIFA for graphics anyway. The player models don't even look like some of the players, that last picture doesn't even look like Messi...

MLS is nowhere near the same calibur or even have as much off a following as the English Premership or the fanatical devotion of the likes of even the SPL nor does the US have a fanbase that is anywhere near as fanatical.

My bugbear with MLS is it all feels too commercialised in certain area's it just all feels tacked on compared to the established leagues with all their history it just feels like a look at me exercise.

And we're not talkinn bout handegg as much as i love it, i'd still take good old footy over American football.

Loving the Pad implementation so far, i'll definitely be double dipping for FIFA 13 this year (PC version as well for country and club additions as well as other mods).

Problem is people see that as something negative.

Yeah, Wii U is more powerful than PS3, established fact.

That doesn't mean developers are willing to enhance Wii U ports of 360 games, because the minimal improvement in visuals is not a selling point (the average person will perceive the changes as minimal), it would in other words be a waste of resources to improve the graphics, however gamepad features are attractive selling points to people and simultaneously cheap & simple to implement.

Keep in mind that I'm neither praising nor complaining, it's just something that I fully expected.

Now when it comes the time to discuss downports of Xbox 3 games however, that's when I expect them to be enhanced compared to 360 games since Wii U can do more.

For instance Fifa 14/15 will look way better than Fifa 13 on Wii U, because they will be downported versions of 720 games, rather than a straight 360 port visually.

This pretty much says it all, the most important screenshots were those of the controller.

Looks like bullshots. Too high res and too good AA & AF for PS3. I'd believe that's the PC version tho.

And there's your reason for a WiiU. That second screen being utilized particularly well.

Although those graphics are godawful. I'm not a graphics whore but the character look like they're missing textures, and there's jaggies everywhere. Is this my Fifa '99 on my N64... jeez.
