Is it just me or is the Xbox 360 version of the FIFA10 demo so much better graphically? I've played both and the PS3 version looks sadly like a PS2 whereas the 360 version looks crisp and much improved on 09. Any idea why this is?

it was like that last year too, the graphics improved when the game shipped. i got the ps3 version, but i think people who played both thought the 360 retail version was slightly better but not the difference the demos showed.

It won't matter at all in this case. Soccer games alway sell way better on the PS3.

Unfortunately I don't have an HD TV but I played both titles on my regular TV set and still the X360 version looked so much smoother.

Ps3 looks much worse then 360 on SD...next time be more clear on what tv you use. 360 is better for SD on most games

Hello TC.

Here's how I know you're lying:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/xbox-360-vs-ps3-face-off-round-16-article?page=4

This is a comparison of FIFA 09 on the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360.

"So, all in all, an excellent showing from EA. In truth, the FIFA games have always been just as good on either platform, with only minor technical differences, and this year's showing continues that rich vein of form."

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/919/919810p2.html

"Some aliasing around player models and the framerate hitches on occasion in Be A Pro, but most everything else is in top form. Graphically, the game is just as sharp as it was last year with very few improvements aside from the aforementioned animations. The grass looks green and sharp and the player models have some solid detail, especially in the Be A Pro camera angle and in close-ups. The only real gripe I have is that some of the less important animations (players getting ready before the opening kick) repeat way too often. Celebrations could be a bit more dynamic as well."

That would only matter if the exusive where like that. Since the ps3 has that 100% locked down.

Well...it still matters considering 90% of this gen´s games are multiplats. Still im sure you agree that not every PS3 exclusive looks good, right?

The problem here is that you are not using a HD set up.

Another EA game, NFS Shift was said to have problems on PS3 when running on SD, but once you go the experience is more streamlined.

I have the PS3 version of FIFA 08 and that looks far above any football game on the PS2. So i really doubt the PS2 version of FIFA 10 looks similar to the PS3 version.

Actually Fifa 09 looked **** on PS3 it was really blury compared to the 360 version, this years looks good though better than the 360 version and I should know I've played both on a HDTV unlike TC.
