I dont think we will ever see another final fantansy as epic as 7 but i hope iam wrong iam also looking forward to 13, but dont forget 13 is a unlucky umber so it could flop
Tetsuya Nomura wants to revive the Final Fantasy Series by these games, I expect nothing more than greatness. Square-Enix stock and reputation depends on it.

Why do people keep calling Versus and Agito spin offs? They are indeed set in the same universe, but I mean unless the characters show up in the 13 story line, which they don't, then yes they can be. It is like saying Finalfantasy 12 was a spin off of Final Fantasy tactics.

They technically are spinoffs. FXIII is the main game. However these spinoffs are being treated like main games though. In what way are they "technically" spin offs?
By not being in line with the main series. Considering they're in the same universe, but not the core title (the core title being XIII) they're spinoffs.

err..all three ff13 games are part of the fabula novus chronicles or something like that. I think all three are supposed to be "main" titles. Or are we simply judging cuz of the name since ff13 has no following words after that. W.e, I will enjoy playing ff13 still.

i call them spin offs becaue they have more in their title then just "FF13". there is nothing demeaning in quality of the word "spinoff".
