All i am hearing from you lems is "next year the Xbox has games". Next year arrives, and we're back at "next year, we swear it will happen". Its been like that since 2018. Microsoft has trouble releasing video games, and game pass is most likely the problem.

Really because MS banged out three 9s and a 10 last year, so I guess you need a hearing test.

Yeah. I initially thought that Crisis Core Reunion would use the same graphics as FF7 Remake, but there is a significant contrast. Looks like it's a remaster, but I would take that over playing it on my noisy PSP.

Jeeze, how do people get excited over this game. It's just a meh to me.

@SolidGame_basic: I started playing them from the first game on the NES so I got nostalgia on my side when playing the early ones. Could be tough getting into the first few for a newcomer. 4, 5, and 6 will be easier. FF6 is just a fantastic game all around and a huge favourite of mine.

@Archangel3371: Totally forgot about them. I am still waiting for FF6 Pixel Remaster port on PS4.

@SolidGame_basic: Best thing is to check out performance comparisons near or at the time the game comes out because at least the way it looked, I'm not sure if it will be as demanding as VIIR since this is literally a PSP game that is possibly getting a graphics overhaul. If not, then I would argue to buy it whatever current system you play on outside of Switch.

Are we ever getting the Pixel Remasters on console?

To be certain, Crisis Core is a pre-sequel of Final Fantasy VII? And while many pre-sequels are not need to understand the story or background of the main game, do gamers need to play Crisis Core to understand the story of Final Fantasy VII?

Looking forward to both of them. I never got around to playing Crisis Core on the PSP so it'll be fun to finally experience it.

@SolidGame_basic: It's still funny to me that cows are OK with Sony paying SE to keep Final Fantasy games exclusive to the PS5, but MS is Satan's company for making Starfield a console exclusive for XBox.

Personally, I don't care about FF games. I just find the hypocrisy amusing.

Sony bought a third party company (Bungie) and kept them third party. Why doesn’t MS do the same? 😎

Its not hypocrisy. Its called understanding gaming. If you understood gaming as well as some of us, Sony fans, you wouldn't be complaining right now.

But what you’re saying isn’t apples to apples for it to be hypocritical. One to one would be MS buying a major third party publisher and deciding to make their games exclusives. MS secures third party timed exclusivity. They even procured having a two day announcement hold for the Persona games coming to next gen system.

Sony secures year long exclusives with 3rd party developers (most recently Final Fantasy, Ghostwire Tokyo, Deathloop, KOTOR remake). Sony has bought 3rd party studios and made them 1st party exclusive studios (Guerrilla Games, Insomniac).

Nothing different than what MS has done.
