Her clothes may be mainly white but look at all those unnecessary belts and zippers. Obviously expresses a need to be "different". If someone walked down the street wearing that, eyebrows would be raised.

I get where you are pulling the similarities from, but he is not emo. Emo style is very different and often orientates around tight jeans, tight shirts, studded belts, similar hair to FF Vs XIII (granted), canvas shoes or skate shoes, oftentimes I have also seen dark make-up used.

The main character is wearing a very stylish suit from the first proper trailer.

I stated that labelling an Eastern style as a Western sub-culture born from a style of rock music. It cannot be done, as they are from completely different cultures. You can think what you want, but you are taking your western observations and putting them on top of something you have observed in the east, when in fact both are born from very different origins.

Agreed you need to factor in many aspects of a personality to be an emo, normally there personalities = old wet boot. but in your previous post you say how if you wear all black = emo, not true.

I know exactly what you mean TC. We haven't seen anything aside from a short trailer, and yet it's getting all this hype. When people say it's darker I really don't understand that part either. It just looks like a love story, and it isn't as if the main character is exactly portraying epitome of manliness.
