Final Fantasy Versus XIII's 1/18/11 trailer says EXACTLY "For PlayStation 3

Compare that to the previous "For PlayStation 3 Only Worldwide"-

I'm betting it is a timed exclusive in Japan, and multiplat for the rest of the world just like Final Fantasy XIII.

It's bound to go multiplat, knowing SE's history. Take this trailer with a grain of salt.

The only reason I'd care is because they've spent more time on it than GT5! We've known about the game forever and it feels like we still know nothing. The port for ME2 took a year, would you have enjoyed waiting atleast another 6 months for ME2 so it could release with the PS3 version?

I couldn't care less about the game, but I think its just unfair that PS3 fans would have to wait even LONGER to play it.

Do you really think that FFXIII was 40 hours of meh gameplay because it was on the 360? Hell no. It was from bad directing and terrible writing. The fact it was on the 360 meant nothing.

SE doesn't care about the sales they get from 360. The likelihood is that SE is waiting for MS to pay them for making it multiplat. hoplayletsplay

This is a huge foreshadowing of the obvious. I don't understand why people set themselves up for damage control.

u know , that FFXIII-2 was probably made with the content that got cut from the first game thanks to the space limitation of the DVD9. I mean, the game's coming out this year? That's way too fast for a game dev that takes 4 years developing each FF... My point is that I want FFvsXIII to be a complete game and not another half-assed game as FFXIII with a 30 hours corridor...

Japan is not the best place to announce it's going multi-plat. IMO I think it's inevitible, but a more logical choice seems to be at this year's E3 to announce it's going to the 360.
