[QUOTE="lundy86_4"]So it is not brand new.Seriously, the internet will probably breakdown on that day, with a monumental amount of downloads. I still have a brand new copy of that game, which I only opened last week.

Ok well it hasn't even been put in a console yet. I'm scared to use it.
[QUOTE="lolfaqs"][QUOTE="Omni-Wrath"]Square Enix today announced that cult classic fantasy RPG Final Fantasy VII will be making it's way onto the PlayStation Network in Europe and North America this May in the PSOne Classics service. John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, "Final Fantasy VII is a great new addition to PSOne Classics. It's simple to understand and easy to pick-up and play, but there is a great depth to the game and an addictive quality that make it ideal for the platform. I hope that many people experience and enjoy it." - Connor Beaton Wednesday 01, April 2009 WEDNESDAY APRIL 1 UK it is APRIL 1 ALREADY. waynehead895
UK isn't even a real country. I'm in CA, and CA time is the official time of the world.
CA as in Canada... (Please don't say California, you would make me look bad :P)Nope, San Diego, California.8)
Or perhaps they have played it, but then someone stole it and it's almost impossible to find one for a decent price now.Are people excited because they have never played it before ..... or do they just want to pay for it again to play it again just because they can ?

Final fantasy VIII is so much better anyway. I think people are getting a little too excited about a 12 year old game that fans will already own and have completed god knows how many times.
i just realised, WiiWare and VC have more square enix support than XBLA and PSN
alot more actually
FF 1 thru 5 are going to be on VC, with 3 WiiWare final fantasy games as well
