This is such a hard choice.Lost odyessy is a great rpg so is final fantasy.Iam gone get one of them but i dont know which one.I really want to know which is better than which.Can someone please tell which ones beter cause there both the best rpg know so i will count you votes and see which ones better.
I would choose LO only cause I played XII for an hour and a half and was bored out of my mind, but I've had way better from the series so I expected XII to be a terrible game in comparisson to the past.
if you haven't played FF12, you've missed one of the best rpgs last gen. the story isn't all that but everything else is nothing short of remarkable. now LO is the opposite, it has a great story but everything else is not so great.
Both great games. Get one now, and the other later. I can't choose between them, I thought FFXII was a rejuvenation that the series really needed, and LO is just a great old-school RPG with fantastic writing.
I happily played through Lost Odyssey and forced myself through most of FFXII, so I'd say Lost Odyssey. I quite liked the skills system in Lost Odyssey, reminded me of Final Fantasy IX.
LO was just a fantastic game. When it came out I was totally engrossed in it. The best RPG that I have played in a very long time, may going all the way back to BG2.
When it comes to RPG's I play them for the story, and the escapism feeling of being in a different world, and seeing new things and people, and LO had that in spades. All the characters are really well developed, and the writing is top notch. The thousand years of dream is also a really fantasic add in to the game.
FFXII i didnt finish. I'm sorry to say, I really thought the whole thing was weak. IMO it's nowhere near the level of excellence you usually come to expect from Square in a main FF game.
never played 12, but LO was very good, but sadly, due to my lack of attention for long games, i got to the last disc and stop playing so ill never know how it ends
Keep in mind you could get FFXII for probably $15 now, so both might be an option. Or Buy FFXII now and if Lost Odyssey goes down in price get that when it does maybe.
