and like all past Final Fantasies it will still only take 15-20 hours to beat the main storyline maybe less if there is alot more CGI and ingame cinematics then usual.

I don't know what kind of clock you're running by, but most FF take me a minimum of 30 hours. Then again, I enjoy my games.

No, this guy is just full of it. You can't even beat the first FF in under 15 hours even if you go straight through. The games have only gotten longer and more detailed with every entry anyway.

Depends on what it requires. I only try to 100% a game that I like and isn't boring.

Well I'm still playing Dragon Age Origins lol. Between Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2 and FFXIII I won't have to worry about picking new titles for a while. I am going to be very busy at the beginning of the year.

Out of those 140+ hours, 120 hours are pure grinding. Talk about wasting time.

That's false. FF games normally require about 25 hours minimum to beat. It varies, FF3 which has virtually no cutscenes runs me about 27 hours, FF7 takes me some time longer as does 8. 5 took about the same time as 3. Really, no one beats an FF game3 in 15 hours, that's ridiculous.

A long game is never a bad thing...unless it makes you suffer through those hours. Hopefully the sidequests are entertaining and well done. I felt the sidequests in Mass Effect were much inferior to the sections of the main quest and I would hate to see that in my most anticipated game of 2010.

I didn't even bother with ME's sidequests. Most of them just felt "tacked on".

The only FF you can breeze that fast is FFVIII and it still takes around 25-30 hrs. Unless you're using some kind of game shark on the early titles.

Laughable that anyone would say such a thing as if to impress anyone in a gaming forum.
