Finally bought Brawl....(coming from someone who hates the Wii)

and there is no way I can deny the Perfection of this game......My brothers and I must of played 30 matches in one night....the nostalgia of this title is soooooo potent..... the music for sonics level brings me back to DC and Sega at the sametime......MGS stage is sooooo awesome....even luigis mansion stage is something else

i really didnt think they could improve over melee that much....but that thought was shattered into tiny pieces.......adventure mode is actually compelling...the items are even more bouniful and cool....and the stages are some of the most inventive thing things ive ever seen filled with destructability

i love this game....but besides SMG and link....this is all the wii has for me...but ill probably never buy another game for the wii...my wii will probably be exclusive to brawl now

Personally I thought SMG got boring way too quickly SSBB is the best to me

I played it last night, and its too much of a button masher for me. When I see a 7 year old beating the game solo like its nothing and all he is doing is jumping around pressing buttons that takes away from the game for me. I will say it is one of the prettier wii games though.Dilrod

But its not the best Wii game out there. Super Mario Galaxy is a far better title. Brawl is basically the melee formula polished, plus a ton of unlockables and nostalgia -- Doesnt mean its a bad game, i just wouldnt call it the Wii's best. But i dont want to start anything :P

Yeah it has more replayability, i just that i feel SMG did more for the Wii and Platformers than SSBB has done for it.

i can see where you might think that...but when your playing 3 or four player matches with people who atleast are ok at the game...then it becomes a little more than a button masher.....you gotta try to use ur environment to better your situation and worsen theirs

You really shouldnt have called BS when I had mentioned I dont know what level he is playing on. QFT, and i he did beat 3 level 9's then he's one gifted 7 yr old and you obviously can't tell skill from button mashing. It takes timing, skill, fast reflexes, schemeing. It's actually one of the deepest fighting games. You just sound ignorant if you think it's solely button mashing

I tried to button mash on Smash once. Fell of the stage by myself. Never got used to it like that. But you can play Smash anyway you want. I use the Wiimote sideways and can beat Level 9 CPU's!

I don't think you understand what you are talking about.

On Solo, you set the difficulty to Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, or Intense.

In multiplayer, you set the difficulty to 1-9.

You can't mix them together.

From my post, how in the world can you establish that I suck at the game? In fact I said its too easy and a button masher. I tried the game. Like I said, its not bad. Its a visually pretty game. Im not too into fighters, so I am trying not to let that influence my thoughts on the game. Soul Calibur on the DC was and still is my favorite fighting game. It just isnt the end all be all fighter that sheeps make it out to be. Dilrod

because you've played the game at it's loest level. Thats like people who say Halo 3 is a pure run in gun requiring no skill whatsoever. As a rule of thumb don't talk on a subject you are vaguely familiar with.
