over 3.5 million people bought a 60g for 600, why would a free motorstorm and an extra 20 gigs change it for the worse?

Because it doesn't have built in chipset for backwards compatible. They are actually getting a stripped down version of the PS3. And at 600 bucks no one will buy it..just like before. So those that were on teh fence bought the 60GB version at 500. But now no one will want to pay 600 for what was 500.

You mean the EMotion Engine??? What happened to the Software EMulation that occurs on the 60Gb ones in EU???

I don't see people missing that EMotion engine since I THINK SOny has about 89% of there games running perfectly on SOftware Emulation

Its true that blu ray is teh leader right now (and the best, 50GB disks for $2-3 will be awesome and worth the wait) however HD DVD is not dieing its just not winning. HD DVD has the cheapest adoptation cost so it is appealing to the less hardcore, who will win is up in the air for now, CES 2008 might start showing the emerging winner once manufactureres announce the players coming for 2008

Wow lemmings are dumb. The PS3's price drop has only been for 1 week. Of course, the sales gap won't be that much. But if you give it a month, then PS3 will past Xbox360 by leaps.

The Blu-ray Camp should be delivering some cheap Blu-ray Disc players soon, I can only Imagine what Happens there when you consider that price is the only thinmg keeping HD DVD players in the GameBlinblingthing

Not to mention Blu Ray movies are cheaper than HD-DVD movies now.

17.99 for the 300 version of Blu Ray vs. 24.99 for the 300 version of HD-DVD.
