"But, as I mentioned earlier, the PS3 version of Oblivion is a definite technical improvement over the 360 edition. Even if you have the latest Xbox patch installed, this newest port holds an advantage with its quicker loading times (which are almost twice as fast as the 360's), fewer framerate hitches, sharper textures, a better draw distance, and a brighter overall picture."

Sigma is a complete remake.... they added way more detail than the Xbox version. Really it's a bigger jump than Halo2 to what we've seen from Halo3.

And don't let the lemming anti-hype fool you. The only 2 games that have been significantly worse are Splinter Cell and FEAR.... both Ubisoft games, a company know to make lazy bad ports. Everything else is near equal or one has advantages over the other and vice versa.

Yeah, it's really too bad it works well enough on the 360 not to recommend a 5 gig install

The versions are nearly identical. :|

Funny that it makes no mention of all the downgraded textures and effects.

Why would they mention something that doesn't exist?

Thats just one spot, taken from the PS3/360 comparison videos on Game Trailers. What doesn't exist now?

Actually, the textures in the PS3 screenshot in your comparison are better than the ones on the 360. The lines of the cobblestones in the ground are SUPPOSED to be finer, less visible. Just because the lines are thicker on the 360 version doesn't mean they're better. In this case, it means they're worse, because thicker lines between stones = blurrier textures.

Ninja Gaiden!

ReverseCycology

Yeah and the double katanas owns every other weapon from the original ninja gaiden and ninja gaiden black, and ryu is alot faster and moves with god speed and with the double katanas, he truelly is a master ninja. Just try the demo out and see the improvements from what they did compared to the original ones, the game just feels so smooth and I cant wait to get my hands on this game even though I beat both the original ones, NGS is still worth the buy a third time around and this is coming from a ninja gaiden fan. :)

self-owned. The PS3 texture looks better. How can you not see that?
