But that scenes is (one of the many) that really makes MGS stand out for me, its just amazing, it takes the cinematic and gaming to a whole new level imo.

Maybe it has to be taken in context with the rest of the story, since the actual fight doesn't look much more epic than something like the huge battles in LOTR RotK, Shenmue, or even Gears 2. I'm not saying it's not epic, just not amazing or anything.

I thin kyou need some kind of attachment to MGS to feel the way you do. I hate the series, always have, watching that video did absolutely nothing for me other than make me think ...mmmm nice cgi. I'm not bashing just my opinion, it's why i said it's what you love.

ERM, that is from a game lol. played it on 3DO and loved it, amazing game, i even made it so i saw earth invaded hee hee.

The TC scene was really not doing justice to the actual game sequence... I know many ppl say MGS4 is a movie and blah blah blah, but every time there is a small cs in the fight Liquid switches to the character of well, liquid and ocelot, from MGS1, 2, 3 and 4 and EVERY time the music switches to that game main theme... THAT my friend was the epic part of the battle for me....
another thing, not a scene, but rather scene+game play was when you go to shadow mosses... damn, never ever had a game gave me nostalgia from 10 years ago... I salute you Kojima sun (met him at TGS this year, actually saw him from a far :P )

That would even go to MGS3.
But anyway, this isnt about just two old guys fighting. This is the final battle to to an amazingly epic series. And yes, MGS4 "choreagraphed fight moves" are better than a low budgeted cutscene.

Was not expecting a scene from MGS4. This is probably my favorite scene from a video game ever, would have been better if you included the whole fight though.

How on earth could you rate it as low as 8/10? Thats an insult to the game, MGS4 is prominently a 10/10. *cough GS gave it 10 xD* You are right on one thing, you simply cannot post a more epic scene than that found in MGS4, an 11/10 game imo
