Fire Emblem Awakening vs Persona 4 Golden

Oh, incidentally, I voted for Persona 4 Golden.

I loved Fire Emblem Awakening, and it is still my GotY for this year, it just did so much right. But Persona 4 Golden is on an entirely different level, it's a drug, and a masterwork of game design. It somehow takes the good but not great vanilla Persona 4 and turns it into a masterpiece.

Persona 4 Golden (and Persona 4 in general) is of course the better game, but I support Fire Emblem much more since this is a remake vs new ideas.

Persona 4 Golden. Fire Emblem was good, but doesn't even come close to P4G, it's the reason I own a Vita, and IMO, it's one of the best JRPG's of all time, if not THE best.

Fire emblem is far better.

Huge fan of Fire Emblem Awakening, but I have to put Persona 4 right there next to it. I can't pick one, I just can't. So much excellence that no JRPG fan should miss.

That's tough, Chaz... I'll say P4G, there's just so much content in it. Fire Emblem Awakening has a more complex battle system though. But p4g is longer and has more emotional moments in its story.

Persona 4 Golden. It's actually reasonably the best game on its system. FE:A is a shell of bygone Fire Emblems.

Once again, I need to remind you that previous Fire Emblem games being better than Awakening (or your liking them more) is not a knock against Awakening (which, I need to remind you, you adored at first), it's a testament to the series' quality.

What I am trying to say is, other games in the series being better does not prevent Awakening from being the best 3DS game at all, and is neither a knock against Awakening, not against the 3DS library, it is just how good the series really is.

I've only played FE, so I had to choose that.

Of course it's a knock against the game. If it's not fun to play a game because it's not nearly as good against previous games in its series, it's a knock against the game.

I've played just about every fire emblem and awakening is among the best.

Not even in the same league. Persona 4 is easily the pinnacle of JRPGs. The game mixes a plethora of genres and it does everything so well there's is nothing like it just like Uncharted.

Persona 4 is easily the superior game, Fire Emblem though is on the more commercially successful handheld

FEA is great, and its probably my favorite 3DS game, but none can stand up to P4G. I wonder how many voters have even played both games?

Honestly I only played FEA on 3DS, don't have a Vita so haven't played P4G, but I have the PS2 P4 game and that itself is superior to FEA, and if P4G is an enhanced port of the game it deserves my vote.

How bad would it be if i say that i never played Persona 4...and trus me, i regreat it, i heard is a magnificent game.

Anyway, i have to vote Fire Emblem, since is no doubt one of the best games this year and arguably the best 3DS game.

Both of games are 2 of the best games ever made! I don't even want to compare the 2 at all.
