i wasnt sure about this game but now i'll probably be picking this one up

usually turn based games bore me because they are EXTREMELY SLOW and boring. but this one seems to have some sort of timing thing that acaully gets you involved in the fight rather then just sitting there telling guy A to attack enemy B

RPG games are art, and a good RPG sucks you in and makes you feel part of the world it creates. And bad RPGs are a drag and feel like work

It's just a personal taste. Some people don't like FPS games, some don't like RTS games and so on. Don't ask something that you won't understand.

Read the IGN preview. They say the first scene is the best...it goes downhill bigtime from there. Graphically/technically they say its mess beyond that point.

I highly doubt they've played the entire game :roll:

This is just like Blue Dragon, where everyone wrote it off because of the demo, but it's actually quite an enjoyable game.

IGN only played it for 6 hours. If you go to the LO forums, there are people who have nearly completed the game, and they have very different opinions. They actually say the opposite, that it gets better the further you are in the game, especially once you reach the end of dics1 and start disc2. The technical issues are half as bad as what IGN made it out to be, the only really problem was long loading times. The animations are almost like ps2 animations but that doesn't spoil the enjoyment of the game unless your incredibly nitpicky.

IGN only played 6 hours, of which is a 50+hour game.

I too liked BD. The technical issues in LO are comparable to what we saw in BD, which IMO wasn't much. The issues aren't as bad as it seems.
