This will be the first must have of current gen. Sorry lems.
with those kind of visuals (lots of jaggies as well, probably crappy AA used aka FXAA) this game should be 60fps. Its nowhere near bad looking but certainly not 'next gen' looking either. If i had to say something negative about my most anticipated title of 2015, that would be it.
lol movie game
lets starting port begging guys, key is to make alts
Hermits are pros in begging so if anyone can make it happen its them!
Finally got a chance to see it for myself and thankfully the spoilers aren't that bad. Makes me excited knowing everything we've seen so far is very early on in the game.
The graphics were a little rough but it's an old build, older than any of the trailers we've seen these past few months. The level design is amazing, with multiple paths and hidden areas that the player didn't go through, to think this is only the first area. Level design looks better than anything that was in Dark Souls 2. First boss looks harder than any of the first bosses in the Souls games. Also, dodging is beautiful.
Looks like there is some form of a Day/Night cycle in the game, this might please Foxbatalpha.
I didn't know it was possible to spoil the first 20 minutes of something.
Usually a spoiler involves a crucial plot point or character element.

You definitely can spoil the first 20 minutes of something. Especially a game like this that people like to go into completely blind. Souls games are never the same again once you've seen an area. Spoilers don't just affect story, but gameplay too.

The beauty of Souls games comes from memorizing routes and enemy attacks, not from experiencing a place for the first time. That usually involves tons of unnecessary deaths.
No word on RPG Elements ?
Bloodborne is still an action RPG, so there are RPG elements. Things like character creation (which IGN will show later), and different armor and weapons are still in. Instead of souls, the currency is now blood, and you have to kill the enemy that killed you to get your blood back. Stats (which I know you hate) are also in.
List of stats:
Mang, I'm ready. Playing through Dark Souls recently has me hyped! Finally going to put my PS4 to work.
Well I stil have dark souls II on my pc that I have to finish, kinda quit playing it because I had tendonitis lol
But they will have a bundle apparently in europe, this might turn me into a cow

That is not solely where the beauty in souls games is. The entire engine itself speaks to more patient and calculating gamers.
Some people didn't die in some areas on their first playthrough. Anor Londo is a good example of this. Sen's Fortress is a good example of what you're referring to though.
I wish they would make some decent sound effects, just as bad as Resident Evil when the character walks and runs. Animation is very stiff, I also wish the world reacted to your presence, graphics could look better as well. Other than that it looks like the same old Demon/Dark Souls fun, will be a good game, scale looks nice.

Hmm, they dramatically changed the lighting of the first level. I remember that the alpha build downloadable via PSN had a night setting. This one looks like a late evening version of the same level. I wonder why. But knowing From Software, there is definitely a good reason.
Never much interested but watched it and it looks boring, too dark and those visuals are nothing to write home about but for those who like this this kind of thing, enjoy, happy gaming.

The time of day and weather changes in the game.
