First 9.5 or 10?

As far as I know GS has not rewarded a 9.5 or 10 yet this year, so which game on any system do you think will recieve this score this year first?

Honestly I think Alan Wake.

Starcraft II hopefully. :)

Portal 2 too. :P

Starcraft 2 has a good shot, but dunno if the "didn't change enough" will hurt it too much. Really really depends on the reviewer I suppose.

If it makes it to fall with no 9.5s... then Im really hoping for Halo Reach.

Dragon Age: Origins Awakening, C&C4, Conviction, Red Dead Redemption, SMG2, Alan Wake, Starcraft 2, Metroid: Other M, Mafia 2...

We still got a lot ahead of, fellas -- and I didn't go into the Fall of this year. I think all those have a chance to get a 9.5, but honestly, if Mass Effect 2 can't do it. I have my doubts if those games can. :P

If Reach cant,i dont know honestly what can.Not that I am a fanboy but seriously,all they need is more compelling sp,better gfx (checked),mp is already top notch.Its their last game...if they do everything they did with CE,and then take it just a notch higher in epicness,there you have it 9.5+.

On another...Last Guardian could also score anything between 9-9.5...

Gran Turismo 5 will get a 10. Reason beinging....damage + NASCAR = Real life NASCAR type car crashes.

Super Mar... oh yeah. I forgot GS hates the Wii. Generic mature FPS/TPS/RPG on the PS3/360 number 234 will get it.

Don't count on Portal 2 anybody. Amazing game, but the first got a 9.0 and unless there are some huge changes of course GS is gonna pull the "not new" card on it and drop it down.

Alan Wake will probably get great scores across the board, maybe even AAAE, but at Gamespot I don't see it..... not sure why, I just totally see them pulling an 8.5 on it.

I think Starcraft II could, even if it's not new like GS hates, it's been years so they'll look past that more and I'm sure it'll be very very good.

Honestly I see a lot of games that COULD get a 9.5 later on all platforms. Super Mario Galaxy 2 and The Last Guardian comes to mind, but again with SMG, they'll probably give it a 9.0 for not being new and The Last Guardian isn't necessarily coming this year, and even then I don't think Ico or SotC got 9.5s.

Scores are unpredictable really, so I don't know.

true that. no matter how much GS hates the wii deep down in their hearts they still remember Mario. Thats the magic of Nintendo

Starcraft 2 has that in the bag loving the beta, GT5 and the Last Guardian has a shot. If Halo Reach gets a 9.5 i will buy another 360 since i sold mine a year ago because it broke twice.

Red Dead Redemption. Then SMG2...Probably. Either 9.0 or 9.5. Maybe 10 :shock: jk
