First Bioshock 2 Review is in!! Your thought?

The first BioShock 2 reviews have arrived, via both PSM3 and PC Gamer magazines... and it's good news.
PSM3 awarded the follow-up 93%, saying it "Tops the original in terms of storytelling and combat."

PC Gamer meanwhile went with a lower but still impressive score of 90%, concluding that "the mechanics that made the original BioShock such fun return, better than before," and "it's still better written than pretty much anything else out there."

Wow, good score, just reminded PSM3 gave Uncharted 2 95% and we all know how amazing it was, Bioshock 2 got score only 2% lower mean Bioshock 2 will be an awesome game

Cool, I have been worried about how Bioshock 2 would turn out for a while. Sounds like i wont be dissappointed then.

wow PC gamer is pretty harsh on reviews. A 90% is pretty damn good from them....

Bio 2 will be AAA at GS as well, I have little doubt.

Sounds good. I felt the first Bioshock was a bit disappointing (a la flop) considering the amount of hype that encompassed it. Luckily, that's not happening with the second go-around so I doubt I'll be disappointed.Stevo_the_gamer

Its good to hear the story is still good like the first one. I have a feeling MP is just going to be some side thing. I really hope theres no online trophies/achivments for this game. Since I would like to try and plat it.

Not really anticipating this one all that much. I'll probably give it a look later on down the road. Anyway, I'll say that GS will give it an 8.5.

Devs really need to learn online trophies/achivments are just a headache and if you making some make simple ones. Like play 100 mathes.

Didn't like the first at all. The combat was poor. The story was fine though.

I'm excited for this one. Cant believe how nearly everyone forgot how awesome the first one was.

These reviews just made me a happy camper. i was a bit worried this game might suck. but looks like it wont i will buy.

The game looks good, I'm sure it'll get AAA here.

Didn't really care that much for the first one, will probably way for budget price on it.

A better story and better combat than the original? Holy smokes! :o

Absolutely loved the first BioShock. It was highly original, and absolutely bat **** insane (if you can meet those two criteria, you've at least got some of my support), and the fact that the combat was as entertaining and hysterically violent as it was certainly didn't hurt anything.

Here's hoping for good things from the sequel.
