When you are not rich, have other priorities (like work and family) and still love videogames, you have to choose wisely. Thise gen 360 is the most complete stand alone console, just like PS1 and 2 back in their days.

Fact. The PS3 has more high quality retail games overall including multiplats according to the gaming press.

Fact. The PS3 has more GOTY winners then the 360.

Fact. The PS3 has more Graphics award winners then the 360.

Fact. The PS3 has more award winning games then the 360.

Fact. The PS3 has more high quality new IP's then the 360.

Fact. The PS3 has more variety in the high scoring games library according to the gaming press.

Fact. The PS3 has sold more then the 360 in the same timeframe even though it's always been the more expensive console.

Fact. Despite being more expensive upfront you'll end up saving money buying a PS3 over a 360.
