First response would be to say no, since consoles don't and never will have the processing and video power of a PC.cobrax75
Consoles already ahve the video and processoing power far superior to most pc's and as good as higher end gaming pc's .
no.

virtually identical huh?
Um yes really you posted this already in another thread and yes it looks extremly close to the high end settings now take into accoutn the texture update with faster load times that they released 3 monthes ago in the 360 version and my point even becomes more clear.
ps. that is compared to the 360 version before the patch.
"Oblivion looks better on a high-end PC than on the Xbox 360. Note the additional foliage visible in the background. We matched up resolutions for screenshot comparison purposes here, but a high-end PC with an AMD Athlon FX-60 CPU and GeForce 7900 GTX graphics card can enable all the settings and take resolutions up to 1600x1200 or more and still maintain smooth frame rates."
it doesnt even look close....
even with the texture update (which only makes a marginal difference) the PC version still looks a lot better.
PC looks better on a high end PC. Alot better ? No.
And the 360 looks best on other PC variants. Not everyone has a high end PC.Most play it withmuch worse graphics compared to the 360.
thats always been a given....
besides....the hardware required to max out Oblivion today, isnt really to high end....
And thats about 1 and half years ago?
Damn PC gaming and their yearly upgrades.
you dont have to upgrade yearly.....the point is that maxing out Oblivion today...isnt really all that difficult with a mid-end GPU.
Yeah, but it can it let me play Crysis with everything on ?
