It looks good IMO,just a bit too jagged...

They are from the UGC beta. I downloaded it last night and I think it looks great. Nice upgrade from the first.

It's direct feed. 2. MLAA only works on various spots(I've noticed it in some shots). Some spots don't have jaggies while others do. 3. It's a sandbox game, doing AA on that is not easy and is demanding.Whoah the previous Bullshots were very Bull, cause these are Jaggied as hell

A direct feed provides faithful screenshots of how a game actually looks at a technical level, but you may perceive it to look much better than such screens when you're actually playing it because of TV upscaling filters and viewing distance and such. Your computer monitor doesn't disguise flaws in this way because it's always at native resolution and you're right up close, so how a game looks in direct feed screenshots does not necessarily reflect how it may appear to you on your TV; similarly, pre-release bullshots with PC-level filtering and other trickery are also not representative of the real experience.

The beta is out and Sony didnt pick me to beta test :x:cry:.. i never missed a single beta that come on PS3.. i want infamous 2 beta or the record will be broken  :P

There is no way there could be no jaggies in an open world sandbox game on consoles at the graphics it's producing(at least with this hardware).

Someone else besides me gets it.=p So basically screenshots are worthless.[QUOTE="mitu123"][QUOTE="garrett_daniels"]Someone else besides me gets it.=p So basically screenshots are worthless. They aren't, if you get a capture device and take screens you get the same results. It works differently from what you see, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Better than shots that think consoles can do 32xAA.:lol:A direct feed provides faithful screenshots of how a game actually looks at a technical level, but you may perceive it to look much better than such screens when you're actually playing it because of TV upscaling filters and viewing distance and such. great shots bus, it looks great it's just sad that there's no aa just like the first infamous. though it's allright, it looks outstanding for an open world console game and has a great art style. :D
and people it's not using MLAA there is no AA.
WOW, I actually wowed when I saw the first pic, the game gfx isn't that super great but they are extremely appealing .... WOOOOOWWW.
OT: to TC, where do you get ur info, dude? you uncover really cool stuff, I remember when you were a freshman in SW, hada couple of conversation wz u and you were the biggest lemming at a time, you won't remember me, now you really bring some good stuff ... great for you, but doesn' change the fact that you still have some lemming remains in u, especially when it comes to G3 :P
dayum though... really wish they would put some MLAA in infamous 2, it's not too late sucker punch. lol
Looks much improved from the first game, but to be honest, im not gonna be playing this for hours because it has good graphics.

Let's be honest. The game will never look that jaggied while you're actually playing it. I MUCH prefer videos to see how a game will really look.mythrol
it won't look that bad in motion, but not far off. the first infamous was a jaggie fest as well and also ran at 1280x720 with no AA.
still though the game looks great besides the jaggies.
I'm sure this is another case of DF shots making a game look worse than it does on your TV. Apparently they've only given out around 10% of the beta invites so far, so you can keep hoping. They probably just dont want to have so many people on, and having a bug that most will find. Easier with less people to start.
I don't know what everyone'e whining about. I've played it, little to no jaggies!
Whe I played the first game, I was disappointed by the graphics. 2 years later, I'm impressed with I2's. Jaggies aren't nearly as bad and the style is miles better. There's also no slowdown, which I can't say about the first.
I don't know what everyone wants to see. Its an open world game that could pass for a linerar cooridor shooter if it weren't exclusive. Especially since there's no pop in, slow downs, jaggies (well almost), or a lack of colors...

Great news if true. Come through for me Sucker Punch!
Because it's captured directly, try with any capture card and see what you get.;)

Yeah I know they're all the same, I've never seen a direct feed shot that didn't look like a jaggy mess.

then why do people post these pics? in other words it looks great if you are playing on a monitor or tv, but bad if you get a direct screenshot!?!? kinda dumb if you ask me, from what i am aware of, people play on tvs and not direct screenshots[QUOTE="mitu123"]

Blame consoles for having no aa in lots of games, some do 2 and 4xAA with some MLAA though. Please Log In to post.
