Looks amazing for a sandbox game, but we all know mlaa doesn't get rid of 100% jaggies like those screens, and if you think so, you need help.:P

Looks good but these are bullshots and theres not many games that look bad with bullshots, also he might be standing on some ground that we cant see or his ice powers let him freeze water under him.

As much as I bag on Infamous 1, it was a great game. But it needs quite a bit of improvements. While the pictures are nice, hopefully they fixed the god awful pop in the first has. Yes I know every sandbox has pop in, but Infamous 1 was easily one of the worst ones. But seeing how the graphics have improved quite a bit (even if they are BS's), I'll be positive.

Infamous 2 looks amazing, espicially for an open world game. It definately looks much, much better than any other open world sand box game graphically, and the best part is, is that they are still in pre-alpha :D.

This is definitely my most wanted sequel out of all the ones confirmed so far.

Well, there was that ice powers thing in the previews, so maybe the water just freezes underfoot for him now.

I didn't mind that he couldn't get into water in the first one, but the lack of water animation when something fell in it was sad. I liked the first one, definitely better than most new IPs first attempts, but am really interested to see how they've changed the traversal system, and how they've spiced up the combat.

The story from the first one was actually interesting and told in a cool way. Hopefully they're able to expand on that quite a bit as well.

Is it going to have Co-op or MP?

The most important thing we need to draw from this screenshot is that they changed how Cole looks At least he doesn't look like Nathan Drake clone anymore.funsohng

certainly not in the first infamous. Judging by the screens not in the second........

Looks sweet, I wonder about his new icy power though. I think:

infamous 1 = lightning

infamous 2 = infamous 1 + ice

infamous 3 = infamous 2 + fire

I hope these equations become reality :D

Fixed :D You see it makes sense considering he knows Ice powers in the sequel Im sure he could do water in the 3rd one and this enables him to manipulate lightening better so he can direct it the way he wants with the use of water. Plus it also adds to the challenge since if Cole uses water for too long he will get weaker so you can only use it for as certain amount of time but it greatly adds to the lightening powers when used.

bullshots or not, I'm pretty hyped for this. And Cole's looking pretty sexy, I'm glad the "bald guy that needs a shave" look seems to be getting retired.

infamous was great and have no doubts the sequel will improve every aspect of the 1st title including visuals... still sceptic about these screenshots though, they look too good to be true hehe

Anyway am definately picking up inFamous2 when its released..

Wow hold it there, there isn't any gameplay vids of inFamous 2 yet, plus I think it's safe to say the game will not reach the same graphical fidelity as those pics posted. Nevertheless, I have no doubt that inFamous 2 will be a looker.

Oh, and I just read this story: inFamous 2 visuals 'in same ballpark' as Uncharted 2's

It's shaping up to be one hell of a visual experience for an open-world game :).
