First Infamous 2 HD screenshots

I read an interview with Sucker Punch and hwo they want their game to be as good as Uncharted 2, ND is also helping them, woow if anyone notice lots of developers want to make their games like Uncharted 2, that game is truly popular

Wow hold it there, there isn't any gameplay vids of inFamous 2 yet, plus I think it's safe to say the game will not reach the same graphical fidelity as those pics posted. Nevertheless, I have no doubt that inFamous 2 will be a looker.

In one pic, it's very short, like the pre-E3 pic. And then in another, it looks almost as long as the E3 hair.

Bullshots, but the game obviously is still looking good. Also, I finally picked the first one up the other day on the cheap. I'll probably pop it in tonight.

Those are supersampled bullshots ;) MLAA does not come close to this.

Episode_Eve, I mean since the reveal of Infamous 2. I know they changed him from 1-2 but I mean have they changed him since 2 was first shown.aaronmullan

Fixed :D You see it makes sense considering he knows Ice powers in the sequel Im sure he could do water in the 3rd one and this enables him to manipulate lightening better so he can direct it the way he wants with the use of water. Plus it also adds to the challenge since if Cole uses water for too long he will get weaker so you can only use it for as certain amount of time but it greatly adds to the lightening powers when used.

I feel bad for anyone who thinks KZ2 is a good FPS... Halo3, COD4, Crysis, Half Life 2, L4D2... etc. are all far superior FPS's.I dont even like Crysis & HL2... but I'd still gladly play either for infinite than to have to play anymore of KZ2... there is nothing remotely redeemable about KZ2 besides its visuals, which isn't that impressive given how small the areas are, and how often the game pauses mid-level (sometimes for 5 ore more seconds) to load whats down the next corridor.

Killzonovela,RDR feels like ALIVE world,so much detail there is in the world that those,even supersampled shots dont really surpass it.With amazing animations(even animals are motion captured) and UNLIMITED draw distance its the best looking open world game.ACII made the world like no open world game yet,it copied Renaissance amazingly accurate and was extremely beautiful game.Devs stated that now,being in one city will enable them to do even better work with graphics.

Nonsense! :P Arma 2 looks much better.

The level of detail is just beyond anything I have ever seen. Literally, there are mushrooms in the forests, rabbits hop through the fields, civillians go about their live, etc. It's just incredible. You should see how the grass reacts to heli's taking off and landing, and how it dynamically folds as you walk over it. The atmosphere is just unreal, lighting is incredible, and it has (I think) the most high res base textures I have ever seen in a game. Nothing compares. Nothing. :P (and yes, that includes Crysis).

And actually, KZ 2 has bigger maps than most games do now (Refurring to Multiplayer)

And also some parts of the campaign have massive open areas.

But on topic, I'm guessing in InFamous 2, he learns how to somehow manage his electricity in the water? I mean it is a sequel.

I know one of the developers said they were going to change Cole's new look after the bad reaction from fans but I didn't think they would do it that quickly. Although maybe as someone else suggested earlier in this topic, his hair might grow over the course of the game. Either way, this game is looking great even if these are bullshots.

I never played the first title but this game looks very impressive in it's own right. The visuals are stunning for an open world game and from what I've seen of the first game, the gameplay breaks par.

Never played the first title. I'm thinking about it though, I want to give part 2 a try.

Looks amazing.

Those screens look incredible. Are those in-game/gameplay shots? In a year or so, the 360 won't even compare to the ps3 in terms of graphics.
