It was a HORRIBLY written review, no doubt about it. The game will still be amazing, though.

Naughty Gods raising the bar once again. 

Naughty Dog are great developers, but i've bought games of theirs that didn't live up to the hyperbole that gamers and press spew about them so i can't get excited for this.

Will probably rent.

basically left the reviewer speechless :P

He's a professional journalist sure in the broadest sense of the word, doesn't mean that review wasn't terrible. I think I'm being a bit hard on it because I'm sick of seeing reviews like this in any media, be it a good review, or a bad one. The only time I can excuse them is when they're working to an incredibly small word limit, but he's writing for a website not a magazine, there shouldn't be a limit.bobbetybob

The length doesn't matter so much as the actual writing. It's horrific.

Expected. People are so easily impressed by realistic graphics. -_-

Naughty Dog's best game is still Jak and Daxter by far.

I doubt The Last of Us will trump it.

Looking to be good, but I agree that was a horribly written review.  For all I know he didn't play the game but like just the demo.

That's the second game reviewed this year wherein a critic declared it to be gaming's "Citizen Kane" moment.

On the bright side, the first was Bioshock Infinite, so TLOU is in good company.
