Poll First Person Shooters, what's more important? (105 votes)

Frame Rate 72%
Graphics 27%

What do you look for in a shooter aside from its mechanics, story and gameplay? How pretty it looks or how well it performs?

After playing games on PC with FPS over 60+ on every game, FPS > Graphics, its extremely jarring/choppy/blurry going from 60+ to 30.

I'm so used to playing at 60+ fps that anything below 40 frames my eyes start to strain from the choppiness of the camera movement.

Depends on the game. If it's singleplayer, slow paced and immersive, I can deal with frames dropping into the 30's. For multiplayer they need to be atleast 50, or it's not enjoyable, at least on a PC.

60 fps minimum. Good graphics can come after this.

RTS, turned based games, you can sometimes get away with 30 fps, but even with that isn't nice. The blur is a strain on the eyes.
