There are plenty of threads discussing the graphics. Can we instead the gameplay improvements that will seemingly turn it from a corridor movie-game into an actual 3rd person adventure game?

@dynamitecop: You are welcome to search the forum for posts by me salivating over Uncharted 4's graphics...you won't find any. I'm excited for the entire package. But even though that has not been my focus yes it will most definitely look better than Quantum Break, Rise Of the Tomb Raider and Just Cause 3 do on console. Just Cause 3 should really not even be mentioned with its shit performance.

Well yeah. I think bit of news is the stealth mechanic. Apparently UC4 now is attempting to have a more focused stealth mechanic for players that choose to play that way.

Only thing this game has working against it (for me at least) is it's releasing same week as Doom. Right now, Doom takes priority for me, but I will get there.

I hope the stealth won't just be an afterthought either. The way they talk about it make it seem like it'll be an integral part of the gameplay. At higher difficulty this could make the game much more manageable.

In the remaster, enemies on Crushing and above absolutely slaughter you and you have no choice but to enrage in direct firefights which often prove fatal because you are outgunned and outnumbered.

@flyincloud1116: in truth Uncharted does release first, and I am a compulsive consumer, slim chance I'll grab it since there'll be a three day stretch Uncharted is all the buzz and I still gotta wait for Doom. I don't know what compelled them set Doom's release date for Friday and not Tuesday, they left that Tuesday open and frankly such a dumb move might have cost them them their game's launch reception and attention it can garner. Most likely Uncharted will be all the buzz when it releases.

Yikes... I wouldn't be bragging about this...

Seems to be like its not just an afterthought because of the nature of the game. Enemies have multiple levels of alertness and now can be marked by a press of a button.

Beyond stunning. Of course Naughty Gods were console graphics kings of gen 7, makes sense they are pushing it even further in gen 8,.

@dynamitecop: Nothing is "wrong" with it I just don't like the direction they are taking. I liked the horror style more than this classic FPS thing they are going back to.

No exclusive 10/10, nor a recent exclusive GOTY or a recent top 5 game of all time.

So go ahead and play the sims that are so wildly popular on PC.

After all It's basically complete nonsensical humor that you get to control. I hadn't sat and played a video game in over 10 years, but after seeing the trailer for it, I created a steam account, bought it, and screwed around with it for hours. The novelty wears off once you've done everything, but as someone else pointed out, they keep adding things to freshen it up.

If you enjoy videos of animals doing crazy things, this is basically one step further, giving you the ability to control the crazy.

Games like Goat Simulator and Surgeon Simulator have enough depth to them that they beat out the other myriad of poor attempts to cash-in on the simulator popularity games like these two have created. Helps that they came out before the rest too; they were original ideas and people weren't tired of the concept of the outlandish "simulator" yet.

@gamecubepad: If those low quality SP shots represent how the game looked, then there seems to be a massive upgrade. They can downgrade the bellow area and still look better then those. The game graphics wont be a problem. It will easily slots itself in amongst consoles technically great looking games. Unless ND brought pc's to run the game here next week will prove there is been an upgrade if those shots are how the game looks lol.

I really hate reading or depending on written previews because they depend so heavily on the person writing them. Gaming journalism is so biased one way or the other now that its hard to trust anything. I'll take this with a grain of salt and wait for GiantBomb's Quick Look and the "before you buy" and "WTF is......" series on Youtube. Far more reliable.
