First screenshots of South Park RPG

Plenty of time to find out more about it before release, but I can see myself buying.

anyone who says this game is going to be garbage is talking out of their ass, with matt and trey doing the writing and being hands on with the developers there is absolutely negative zero chance of this being bad.

so im not sure, will it be an rpg with a party? say, stan, kyle, cartman and kenny are the main characters, then kenny has to die at some point, and you can choose between butters or tweak as a replacement. thats what im thinking anyway.

Eh I still get cheap laughs from them occasionaly, but South Park is still great IMO.

Cleveland Show should never have existed, and hey I still like American Dad. :P

The first few seasons were pretty bad, specially the animation and the humor. Around season 6-8 was when I started to enjoy it more.

I disagree the satire and hidden plot points in season 1-5 were actually good after that they started getting obvious and rather unfunny. the simpsons after season 5 or so they tried to be edgier and more edgier as time went on and it started to grind.
Family guy was never good and neither was american dad.

American Dad has its moments, but Family guy's been dry and relies too much on flashbacks/flip away scenes for humour.

this game isnt going to be about the gameplay or graphics. its all about the writing. the dialogue is whats going to make this game special.

It is an MMO, no? If yes, that is downright genius--if all the characters are characteristic of the player.

The South Park season 13,14 and 15 they have some very good episodes.Try to watch the South Park S15E08 Ass Burgers........lolol

Agreed, South Park is massively overrated these days. It's good, but at the rate they make episodes, it's not possible to churn out high quality viewing each week.

They just take two or three of the hot topics that week and mash them together into something ludicrous, nonsensical and downright bizarre. Still, I like it and the older episodes were pure unadulterated genius. But they should slow down.

And The Cleveland Show, American Dad, Current Simpsons and Current Family Guy should all be locked away somewhere where they're no longer an affront to humanity.

All of them are so very, very poor.

I disagree. I think the writing has only gotten better, particularly starting in season 6. The show stays relevent because they deal with things that are currently going on in the world. It is almost as if they worked the show to evolve this way, as politically they are able to do things that wouldn't be acceptable when the show first started.

they collaborated with Harmonix aswell in Rock band :P 2 songs from south park are available for it aswell as the lady gaga skit using rock band peripherals :P

i can see it being heavily satirical of the state of videogames like :P hopefully we see some Aethiest action that spawns out of waiting for a console :P

Strangely its bout one of the only animation shows thats managed to keep up to date with satirical nonsense.Partially due to its insanely quick turn arounds in episode manufacturing.

It might work as a show, but having the game look the exact same? Doesn't look good to me.

I want the game to have New Vegas like elements with that classic South Park dialogue and Castle Crashers like combat.
