Yeah, looks about the same, no horribly obvious difference, and as a PC gamer, I think its good their releasing this to a larger audiance, it really was a great game, with one of the better multiple path systems, especially since its not good vs evil, there is some actual morals behind it all.110million
Actually those pics look leaps ands bounds better than the PC version

No it doesnt look leaps and bounds better then a good pc running the witcher.
I don't see why PC users are supposed to care about this.
The game was built from the ground up to run on PC and has been a PC exclusive for quite a while, it coming to consoles at a later date impacts neither the games design or it's sales.
Now if the game was launched cross platform; that would be a different story.

Clearly never played the PC version then have you? It seems he has not, maxed out on a PC theres some obvious improvements.Over in their official forums, members of the RED dev team have asked, "please do not refer to this as a mere port."ironcreedSo the developers themselves are building this "port" with quite an ambitious resolve to make the console versions worthwhile purchases. Props to them.

Indeed, they said they are building it from the ground up for consoles in order to have it maximized according to console specific strengths and specs. Same story and intricacies of the PC version, yet they are simply rebuilding the game for consoles in order to ensure quality.
Here, check out this GS interview with a member of the team, where he mentions the new Davinci Engine the game is using, and just speaks about the console version in general.

I loved The Witcher on PC, im glad 360 owners are at least getting something!
I might have to pick this up if its even half as good as The Witcher on PC!

Far better visuals are already confirmed, also the combat will be further refined, and is the same game as PC, they confirmed will not cut anything
So, same game, better visuals, combat, what more could you ask
