Have you considered the far more obvious possibility that if those were the genres we cared about, we'd be PC gamers? I think you're getting cause and effect backwards.Whats the point they'll just say they don't care cause it's not on their system especially since some of those genres aren't catered to consoles

Witcher and Diablo are coming to consoles aren't they?
Oh and the other three games, amazing that they are (I less than 3 SC2) just wouldn't work on consoles so no, I'd rather not see them on my PS3.
I think WoW should go die period - it's a horrible game with a $15 monthly fee.
SC and Total War - I could see some people playing them. But RTS's are one of the genres that the keyboard actually seems appropiate. Unless players could use a keyboard, or even a chatpad to expand the buttons on the regular controller, I'd prefer to play them on PC. And judging by sales of console RTS games, so would most other people. Though I did enjoy my time with Halo Wars - love to see a sequel expand on that.
Witcher 2 is coming to consoles, so it's weird that it's there. D3 could work, but it'd have to move away from the point and click combat, and hopefully that damn isometric camera as well. It's incredibly impersonal, and point and click just doesn't fit a controller the way more action oriented controls do.
[QUOTE="ShadowDeathX"] Console gamers didn't care about shooter games in the past.IronBassEh.... that's factually wrong. Shooters have always been a very popular genre on consoles, since the Nes days.
Yup. I played all the original Medal of Honors and Call of Duty before Halo and Modern Warfare and loved them.
Medal of Honor Frontline still remains my favorite campaign for a FPS

I still find it funny that the D-Day level in Medal of Honor and the D-Day scene from saving private ryan are identical I miss those old WW2 shooters :( Though the original on the PS1 was just ok mainly because the controls, and the graphics. I can't even imagine the amount of invisible walls that game contains :PThis. Also consoles are Getting Witcher 2 anyways so I don't see why the witcher series is on that list. There also rumors of D3 going to consoles but nothing confirmed there.StarCraft, World of WarCraft, and Total War would not work on consoles.

I do too :(
Old school WW2 shooters ftw.
And yes I actually bought the original MoH off the PStore because of nostalgia and have been playing through it.
It's so dated but still enjoyable. The enemy animations are laughable at times.

OR maybe that people are simply just plain glued to their platform. This is applying to everyone when I see thread like this but with PS3, Wii, Xbox, PC etc games you'd see people say they don' care and vice versa.
Disagree with the Blizzard games since they are so hardware friendly, anyone with an average copmuter can run them easily. I know some people loved Witcher but probably not everyone. If Total War is ported to consoles, no one would probably want to play it since the control will suck.
The Real Link.

and most of those won't work.

Have you ever read PC threads on this forum? There are always people that complain that price is a huge factor given that many of the posters here are college students.
Price is also a huge factor when people know they enjoy their console, so why drop $800 on a PC especially when they have never had experience with a PC, and therefore might be worried they won't like it? I can tell you the only people I've ever known to convert to PC gaming had to have a bit of encouragement which came in the form of me allowing them to play games on my PC.
Some people actually do think PC looks great, but they are still put off by building their own computers, and downloading software for it.
You can't tell me everyone has the ability to just get a PC whenever they feel like it.

I find these statements surprising coming from you.
[QUOTE="WarTornRuston"]
Maybe Stalker or The Witcher. I could care less about any of the other ones. Strategy and MMORPG games are boring.

Which should be read as "I've never played strategy games nor MMORPGs",shouldn't it ;)
On topic, I don't really see PS3/360 owners dying to play RTSs or WoW. No idea why would anyone put them in such a list.
I think I know what I wrote and what games I have played. Honestly, why does almost every conversation in sw always turn out like this?Starcraft would work on the wii (controller wise)StarCraft, World of WarCraft, and Total War would not work on consoles.

Diablo III is not on console as of now. There has been no official announcement about it being brought to any consoles. So no, it is not a console yet. Also only the Witcher 2 is on 360, the Witcher 1 is still PC exclusive.no, no, no, on console, on console

It would work relatively well on the Wii U though, with its touch screen and stylus and all.
Also, I like how one of the reasons for Diablo III is "A Blizzard Entertainment game", especially because StarCraft and Blizzard are also on the list. :P
[QUOTE="nameless12345"]Reason is because, they have no strategy or MMO games to play. =p Console gamers didn't care about shooter games in the past. When shooters started being released on consoles, then console gamers desired it. and now it is the biggest genre on consoles. No you buy a PC if you want to play that stuff, people buy platforms that play the games they want to play, unless your getting w/e mommy hands you...I'm pretty sure most console gamers don't care about strategy and MMO games. Besides, Witcher 2 and DIII are comming to consoles.
ShadowDeathX
It was already delayed... It might end up getting cancelled like Rise of the White Wolf. :PThey have no clue what consoe gamers like (well neither do I, but I know what I like :P). The Witcher is the only thing on that list that I believe console gamers are interested in. And guess what will happen to that franchise !
