i will get both.

sure i hardly played the ps3 this gen because i got all my multiplats on 360 but it's nice to have to opition to play whichever gets the best version of multiplats and any exclusive i want to play.

so far it looks like the ps4 will dominate the multiplats this time around as long as sony can get their act together with psn.

if psn remains sub standard then i can always go with the x1 versions.

Will probably get both at some point, but getting PS4 first then Wii U then Xbox One when it's super cheap.

im not going back to xbox after what happened to mine back 2008. im staying with playstation.. its exclusives are beasts, if the xbox one wont be so shit like the xbox360. maybe i'll get it 2015

Xbox One controller is the best.  Xbox has the best online infrastructure and better security.  Xbox has Xbox Live which is built on MS Azure technology.  Powers companies like Amazon and IBM.  The whole interface of Xbox is seamless and smooth.  With over 20 years building the OS of 99.9 percent of the world's computers, it was inevitable.

Its funny though.  Of course there will be cows who will buy the PS4 for whatever reason.  Maybe someone out there honestly likes Knack.  Who knows?  I just know without any doubt that Xbox live will have the superior online gaming experience just like this past gen.  This past gen you could argue PSN was better especially those that were poor, because it was free.  Not anymore.  Now cows are actually paying money for that crappy PSN service which is kinda sad.

Anecdotal - My nephew, being a Halo fanatic from CE, stopped playing Halo 4 shortly after getting it and is looking forward to an actual Bungie game.

1. The controller.

2. Cloud based technology.

3. Kinect 2.0

4. The exclusives.

5. The X1's design looks awesome.

6. The features. (skype, NFL, plus all the apps that will be added) 

While I was quite critical of Microsoft after this year's E3 because of them not elaborating what the XboxOne's policies would be, I can say now that they've provided gamers with the original XboxOne vision alongside an alternative for traditional gaming and gamers who'd like to protect their investments. I'm certain the family plan will be brought back and once it launches, the XboxOne will provide a fantastic and innovative gaming experience whilst pushing technology.  

400 and 500 dollars are both alot of money, but we live in the age of 500 dollar cell phones and 600 dollar, tablets, so the price wasn't an issue. For me the issue was that for that type of money I wanted alot more than just a gaming console. The Xbox One voice and motion controls, ability to snap and quiuck switch games, media, streaming, Skype on the fly via voice, along with all online games having dedicated servers, and the overall appeal of Xbox Live versus what in my opinion is simply a very powerful gaming console in the PS4. But the Xbox One has more of the games I like the most and I'm fine with where the console is graphics wise today and going forward. Again, 400 and 500 are both not small sums of money. I want more than a gaming system, and what things they both do, I feel the Xbox One does them better. I can't play specs but I can play Titanfall, Halo, Forza, and Fable Legends on my One. So I'm sticking with MS. But I cetainly don't think the PS4 is a bad system. Just a very very simple one.

Getting both, but not at launch.

At some point, I'll be getting an XBOX ONE first and will be my go to primary platform.

PS4, later, and will strictly be my Exclusives platform. 

Why XBOX?

• I like the controller the best. 
• It's online infrastructure is more fluid and accessible
• I like the genres it will carry: mainly FPS & TPS
• Guaranteed 3rd party support
• It's Western Games Centric appeal to me (not that I hate Japanese games, I just don't like Jrpgs)
• XBOX consoles NEVER really disappoint me

XBONE for me first. I will get a PS4 a few months down the road. I honestly don't give 2 shits about InFamous so it will be a while. Probably get most of the multiplats on PS4 though except for online shooters.

Another of these threads? It might surprise non Sony fans that people like the Xbox One. It comes down to personal preference of games and system choice, if I could afford a PS4 too I'd be happy to own both. 

I'm getting both consoles, but Xbox One comes first, mainly for its exclusive lineup. Also, I really want Killer Instinct, the game is too much fun.

The day one games are more appealing to me. Dead Rising 3, Crimson Dragon, and Ryse Son of Rome are all exclusives I'm interested in. I don't care much for kinect but I can't knock the new one until I try it.
