For the love of god I'm sick of shooters.

I'm so sick of shooters must every game in the industry contain guns. Can anyone make a decent platformer or adventure game besides Nintendo. I'm sick of the whole industry Nintendo hasn't released any info on thier games and the PS3 and 360 have nothing but shooters. Halo3, Gears of War, Metal Gear 4, GTA 4, Call of Duty, Half Life 2, ect ect ect...

I've owned all of the above and yet to finish any but 1. By the time I get most of the way done I just give up. I think I'm seroiusly burned out on shooters. The only game in the near future I'm remotely interested in is Resident Evil 5.

I can honestly say I haven't played a good game since Zelda TP on my gamecube. I'd like to play Mario Galaxy but I'm not buying a Wii until some good nintendo games get anounced.

One is a stealth action game, and another is an open world action adventure....

Go play Braid, Pixel Junk, N+, Puzzle Quest, The Last Guy, Echocrome, Kameo, and while your doing that, wait for Banjo, Little Big Planet, and Heavy Rain.

MGS4 wasnt really a shooter. At least you didnt have to kill everyone. And games like LBP, inFamous, Motorstorm 2, Fable, and WKC should satisfy you.TheGrat1

There are already a number of highly rated first party games (also don't forget the 250 games on VC).

The Wii will get the Conduit which will use Motion Plus and you also got Metroid Prime for a chance of pace.

the wii feels your pain, TC. lemmings and cows may not believe it, but for old school games, the wii is a breath of fresh air. the games thats out on the other system is far too may, too similar. its good to play shooters every once in a while, but you also need diversity. the wii is destine to offer that, if it follows the road of the nintendo ds. If you have a nice pc as you claim (and By nice im assuming relatively modern hardware) than why don't you just buy a new video card because clearly it seems your only problem is your graphics card. You can get a decent card for under 200 dollars.

Why are you interested in Resident Evil 5 when you are clearly so sick of shooters? RE5 defines shooter and has 'shooter' written all over it. You don't make any sense at all, clearly you are confused of what you like and what you dislike. Also, if you can't stand it then too bad, this is what most gamers ask for, most gamers want shooters so that is what they are going to get. It is shooters who have their own unique experience is what will seperate em from the rest.

Not at all. Then you aren't really sick of shooters if you are still interested enough to pick up RE5. Chances are if you are a 360 fan, you will be interested enough to at least try Gears 2 and that right there means you aren't so sick of shooters after all.

After looking at all of the games released this year that scored an 8 or above at Gamespot , I think there have only been 2 shooters so far ......... Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Battlefield MC. Problem is many of those won't happen since the likes of Crash and Sonic have gone downhill and Rare now owned by MS.

I am playing Komeo right now for the 360....It a great platformer you can pick up for $10 at Gamespot

on a side note I bought the game because of the Komeo vs SMG threads out awhile back. Thinking the game may be has good as SMG or at least hoping. Well it is a good game, it makes me wonder the ones who said it is better if they have ever play SMG. I am betting no.

But it still a good game at a good cost.
