i feel you on shooters. the market is flooded with them. i like gta4 and metal gear, but they are more then just shooting. all these first person shooters that come out are just the same old thing over and over again.i wish they would make more adventure games like shadow of the colossus and jak and daxter
little bbig planet may be a good game for you when it comes out, or maybe even oblivion, which is dirt cheap.

The only one that sounds good to me is Fable but if it's anything like the first it will be over in 8 hours. I won't pay $60 for an 8 hour game maybe after a year if it drops in price.
Sounds to me like you may be overly picky about your games. Maybe gaming just isn't for you anymore. That sucks, but hey, I guess to each his own. Maybe take up model building? or journalism?

I guess you'd probalby be best off picking up a new hobby. Since guns aren't your thing, maybe you could try a good romance novel?
If you don't like shooters , what is the use of buying gaming consoles? They are number one Genre right now on major consoles like Xbox 360 and ps3, except Wii, which is fun only for like sports games and adventure games, lol.
