Who cares about extra levels and content when it plays like crap? I played the 360 version, and even though I won't be getting it, it looks a lot better than the Wii version. Just more fun and immersive.flowdee79
So far all the previews which have played both disagree with you. IGN went so far as to say the 360/PS3 was a tech demo compared to the Wii's.
Sorry I own all three systems I would want more levels, MP, extras and gameplay over better graphics any day.

What part of the Wii version is the best dont you understand?
Its quite clear at least to me that people are just hating on the Wii because its the Wii. Here we have a game with more features and better gameplay against the same version of the game on different consoles with worse gameplay and less features yet we have people coming here and saying useless things. Any person that chooses to play or buy the xbox/360 versions of the game even though they have a wii is nothing more than a "graphics wh*re".
[QUOTE="Ibacai"]I'll take the PS3/360 version thank you very much. The Wii version looks uninspired and clunky just like the rest and with worse physics and graphics.110million
Indeed, some people need to get over the fact that somehow simply throwing in motion controls makes Wii games have superior gameplay.
Your right, but in this case IGN said the gameplay is better on the Wii...

If it's crap on Wii, then it must be Lair level crap on the PS3 and 360, which the gamplay is worse.
Wii exlusive . . . GTFO. i'd rather get it on PSP than Wii. I'll marathon the real version of this game on XBOX360 when I get it on midnight.TIE_Elite_Pilot
You mean the demo-ish version?

Who needs extra levels and why would someone want two-player duel mode. When you can have graphics that don't even look that good for a 360 game.
There will be NO good version.
Nintendo Power (a magazine that constantly overrates Nintendo games) already gave it a 75, I'd call that average.
360 and PS3 will get about the same.
It'll just be all around "Meh." It's not like the Wii version is going to be some AAA game.
1. I like my graphics. Why would you want the 360 one when the Wii has so many more extras?
Heck for hard core Star Wars fans you will be able to play has Mara Jade Skywalker in the duel mode.
HarlockJC
2. A massive part of the game is throwing enemeies around with the force, and the physics will be superior on 360.
3. I don't care much for the Duel mode, the reason I'm buying the game is for the Main Story.
4. Krome's Dev record is, lets just say, not to my liking.
5. As I said before, I have no idea if the Wii - Lightsaber controls would be too my liking. Infact i think it was Nintendo Power that said in their review "It isn't as satisfying as I'd hoped".
1. I like my graphics.

Your new to gaming then. That sudden immersion of new graphics is short lived, I assure you.

It's just funny how fanboys can't admit that the Wii version just might be superior.

I'm not saying it won't be superior, but is that really impressive? I'm saying all versions will be average. If the 360 and PS3 versions are, say, 6.5 or 7, and the Wii version is 7 or 7.5 that's not impressive, at all. It's an average game, a skippable game. If the Wii version was a 9.0 or 9.5 then yes, that would be impressive. When you're the "superior" turd, that's not exactly a victory.
The bottom line is LucasArts did a terrible job on this game all around, the marketing and hype did not in any way live up to the final product. There are so many good games coming out in the next few months that there's no way I'll be wasting my money on ANY version of it.

I agree, but still many people are saying they don't want the superior turd over the inferior one. It's just funny to me I guess.

Really ?I'm not saying Graphics matter more than Gameplay or that they can make a game good. But i am saying good graphics are a key component too any game and they can make a good game brilliant.

Wrong.
What were saying is it should have been Wii exclusive so they could have focused more effort into making a decent game rather than focusing on the inferior versions.

Well, making that silly decision is up to them.
For me though, I just choose to skip all turds in general.

My first game was on the ZX Spectrum. I have seen every graphics revolution since the 1980's and I assure you that you will grow out of this graphics phase once it's initial appeal has worn off.
Graphics can make a good game better, but they don't stop a great game from being great.

How long you've been playing video games makes no difference at all. I'm 27, have been playing since the early 2600 days, and graphics still appeal to me.
I don't know what you're talking about, but you don't "outgrow" the "Wow" factor.
And Force Unleashed on the Wii looks far, far from great.

Pretty much, graphics will have a wow factor as they evolve, and gens typically get better and better graphics as the years pass, graphics always evolve too, we're not at a limit yet, so we aren't at the point where graphics won't be getting any better. I can still play plenty of PS2 games, and I do, they don't have such a wow factor, and its true that a lot of them have some great gameplay, but just like when Resident Evil 4 came out for PS2, it had more gameplay features then on the gamecube but people still prefered the superior graphics and controls (arguably) of the GC version, its common to sacrafice minor unimportant new gameplay. Especially since Star Wars on the PS3/360 has the superior physics engines which actually add a lot to the gameplay on their own as well.

Uhh, no I'm not wrong.
I disagree I think it looks better than the N64 ones :PThe Force Unleashed is the worst looking Star Wars game on a Nintendo console graphically.
It looks nowhere as good as the Gamecube Star Wars launch title.

No, this is force unleashed. The be-all HD starwars experience with a whole new physics engine and next-gen AI. Cows and lems laugh at sheep all the time for not having the epicness of the 360/PS3 force unleashed.

Funny how hindsight works. We had to endure cows' and lems' ignorance for over a year. Going on and on about how SW:FU is what next-gen physics and AI is all about and that the wii will miss out on what makes a game a game. Ironic that the only "game" here is the wii version.

Why am I not suprised?
Because the PS3 and 360 are more powerful systems and are in HD.
At least I hope that is the reason why your not surpised.
Why will he take the ps3/xbox360 versions when IGN clearly stated that the Wii version is the best version. Its things like these that inspire devs to keep on giving us shallow games with shiny graphics.
Good thing I don't really care what IGN says. I for one (This is my personal preference and has no bearing on any true quality) hate the Wiimote. I don't like how it feels, controls, or is used for games. I go for the gameplay (Which I'll enjoy more on the PS3/360) and better graphics and physics. It's pretty simple for me. The multiplayer? Looks to be about as good as the mp on Revenge of the Sith....could be wrong but it doesn't interest me. Extra levels? Now this is something that does hurt. I wish the PS3/360 version had them. What kind of levels are these?Personally, the combat with the Wii looks far to easy. I was watching a gameplay video and sometimes it showed the players. Starkiller is swinging his sword around like a true Jedi. The player is just barely tossing his Wii remote around. Sure, it seemed cool at first, but I can see that combat with the lightsaber will be pretty easy. The Force could be the challenge.
I adore graphics. If a game has cruddy graphics, I simply don't get it. It's that simple.
I'll have fun on my PS3, thank you.
