@last_lap: ‘That Amog guys posts in here tend to show aggression when others have a different opinion’

I’m just simply not like you guys. Most ‘gamers’ that tend to frequent video game forums are the geeks in high school that played dungeons and dragons/Pokemon in the hall corners instead of playing an actual sport. You guys simply aren’t competitive in nature, hence why most popular online, competitive games are extremely unpopular here in regards to the users. Most of you have no friends other than the users on here, which is why single player games are are put on a pedestal on this forum and most competitive, people oriented games are shunned, especially when the mainstream enjoys it. I play all sports and I’m currently a competitive bodybuilder attempting for my pro card. We’re simply cut from a different cloth.

It’s fine to be introverted and prefer to stray away from other people, but at least try the damn game before hating on it. That’s quite literally the definition of ignorance.

Granted I haven’t played Fortnite since the OG days, but I really enjoyed it before it became a gen Z, meme factory for kids. The Ninja playing with Drake OG days were glorious. Game was at its peak.

When you make assumptions you make an ass of yourself not me.

So much to unpack. Well I played Rugby League in school during the week and Soccer on the weekends along with Cricket (during different seasons)

I have never played D&D nor Pokemon, nor did I sit in the halls, as I said earlier I was playing sports or chasing the ladies in school lol.

I used to play a lot of competitive games, but slowed down a lot last gen and have all but stopped this gen. I'm pretty competitive, but as I get older some of my gaming habits have changed, also having children changes them too, I can't get home and just sit in front of the tv playing competitive games all night. So most of my MP experiences are now done in co-op where I can just relax after work, dinner, kids are in bed etc.

As someone who's gamed for nearly 40yrs I know what I like and what I don't like, and Fortnite falls into the latter, I don't need to play it. It's also a f2p game that is designed to milk you of your money with skins etc.

You talk about ignorance, your post judging everyone when you don't know anyone's story is just that ignorance.

With you being a bodybuilder, it makes all your aggressive posts make that much more sense.

But you are right about one thing, and that's we are built from a different cloth.

It’s the middle of the day. The kids are in school. These numbers are insanity! COD is in trouble for the first time ever I think. 😬

Nothing new. Battle royale games like PUBG and Fortnite have been consistently outperforming COD for the last five years. BR games have been dominating FPS games for years.

Just curious, but how old are you? You sound very Gen Z. Not that there's anything wrong with it, as this board could do with some younger users.

Just for the record, most of this board's users are Millennials well into their 30s, some even Gen X in their 40s or 50s. Many users here have busy working lives and/or family lives with wives and kids. High school is a long time ago in the past for most users here. It would be silly and immature to still be obsessed about the high school days at this age.

You're clearly confused if you think the Fortnite hate here has anything to do with having a social life or lack thereof. What it really comes down to is a generation gap. Fortnite's core demographic are Gen Z teens. This board's core demographic are 30-something Millennials, which falls outside of Fortnite's core Gen Z teen demographic.

Why? Have you played Barbie Horse Adventure? Hope you're not being ignorant by not playing it.

And now you bash the game that you tell others to play.

Please continue with your body building. Your head doesn't seem very good.
