not all marketing is the same
so 'has been marketed' could mean
A. nothing other than a banner add in steam
or
B. a multi-million dollar campaign involving traditional adds, articles written, videos made, opinion pieces etc.
Fortnite isn't on Steam.
actually I think it is but that was an example to show how 'has been marketed' can mean a lot of different things.
I hope you are not pretending to be less intelligent then you really are, because that would not help you
If you made more sense it would really help. What are you on about?
Fornite is not on Steam and I am well aware of the concept of marketing.
ok I am going with the assumption that you are in fact less intelligent then one would assume, and as such gives me more opportunity to highlight the absurdity of your comments to everyone else so here goes
ok...'has been marketed' does say much
its like saying
'i have a boat' ok..is it a rowboat or is it a million dollar yacht? (this is called an example)
'I have a car' ok...is it a POS old car or is it is a Porche? (this is called an example)
'I spent money to advertise this game' ok did you spent a million dollars or $10? (this is called an example)
'Rimworld is advertised just like COD is advertised!' no its not, the amount spent is radically different (this is called an example)
'not all F2P games that are marketed are successful' true but how much money is spent on marketing does affect its success (this is called an example)
see how 'has been marketed' really can vary greatly?
