Forza 3 9.5 at GS - Please keep all discussion here.

I can tell you the handling is much better, controls feel much smoother. Much better tracks (and track types).

Is it a surprise? Forza has made Gran Turismo obsolete. Heck Forza has had THREE AAA games while PD has yet to release the next GT....

I'd also like to add, while you guys claim it's 'not for everyone'. Judging by the sales of GT (50 million) and NFS series (100 million), the racing genre is as much 'for everyone' as any other genre out there.

I said this to adrian_werner, and I'll say it to you. Don't set yourself up for disappointment in GT5 getting a 10.

Oh and if you could please answer my earlier question; did Gamespot have credibility when they scored Uncharted 2 a 9.5, and MGS4 a 10? ;)

yep it's the first 9.5 score for an exclusive this year, and a well deserved one at that...... also there may be no game in the near future to surpass Uncharted 2, unlike the case with Forza and GT5

Yes, a PR segment, centered mostly on one car (the SLS), designed to build hype (as all PR material is) yet offering nothing of the actual gameplay or features to be found in the next GT. And yes, T10 is just as guilty of PR talk, but at least we KNOW they have delivered. As for Polyphony.... well remember their promise of online racing in GT4? ;)

Awesome score, awesome game. Great job, Turn 10. The Forza series keeps on moving forward, leaving GT in the dust.

So this guy doesn't realize that Forza has been better, much better, than Gran Turismo in the gameplay/physics department ever since the first Forza showed up? I feel bad for people who haven't had the joy of playing a Forza game. The physics are just so freaking good.

I'm dying to play GT5 as well, but that game is more about looks, I'd be shocked if the physics were anywhere close to being as good as Forza 3.

yep GT4 was on PS2..... the online integration on the console was not anything to talk about..... I have no argument that Turn 10 delivered, but it's not "TEH DEFINATIVE"... as they were saying, when there is a game like GT5 on the horizon........ now if GT5 was never coming out, then and only then the can stand by that statement..... but the bar is going to be raised again, trust me, and there efforts are going to look futile and be degraded....
