In cockpit view when you shift gear the driver's hand remains on the steering wheel... I remember playing PGR4 the driver's hand at least move a bit to show that he touches the gearstick.

That's cool and all.
In GT you can ride on the wall at 160mph.
Which is more realistic? In your opinion of course.
If this is all people can find to complain about with Forza 3, then it must be a really great game. :)

What's the worst thing about Forza 3?
I've ordered it from Amazon (It was supposed to arrive today :( ) And need some reassurance, that it's all it's cracked up to be
Agreed. I loved the demo. Can't wait until I get the money together for the full version! If this is all people can find to complain about with Forza 3, then it must be a really great game. :)

i disagree arma2, Red Orchestra, Darkest Hour, and any simulator game is incredibly realisticThere isn't a single videogame which is remotely realistic.

i disagree arma2, Red Orchestra, Darkest Hour, and any simulator game is incredibly realistic ....well I have never been to war so I cannot agree or disagree.forza is best from the bumper cam. these cockpit views are a waste of time imodog_dirtsame, i always use bumper cam for racing games

Not...even close :lol: The truth always hurts. BTW....ever since Forza came out, PD has delayed time and time again. That's saying something even though they've kept quiet. It's obvious they just weren't keeping up with the new kid on the block and even now they still haven't released TRUE gameplay footage. You know why? It's simply because ONLY the cars look incredible and everything else looks last gen.(Flappy Paddle gearbox)In cockpit view when you shift gear the driver's hand remains on the steering wheel... So if they didnt release any real gameplay footage, how do you know evreything else looks last gen?

No... Just no... ArmA2 is far far far from realistic... AI dooesent care for its life, they dont take cover, there is only a HP system for vehicles (if you hit the front, back or sides always the same damage, no penetration calculator etc.) and loads of mistakes.
No game is eaven close to realism

Why do you feel the need to make things up when it comes to Gran Turismo? The fact is, the next game after Forza released it's first iteration is GT 5, which has not been delayed at all (since it was never given even so much as a launch window). Even still, Gran Turismo was well known for delays long before Forza was even conceived. To somehow now insinuate a link between Forza and GT delays is just preposterous.

See, this is what I meant when I said Forza's damage model was vastly overhyped. I'm sure GT's system will end up somewhat like this too, but the game closest to full body damage is probably Burnout Paradise.

Since when GT5 got a release date window as what I remember PD didnt say any release date but people were expecting things and just stop being a fanboy and wait till GT5 is out then judge if everything in it looks last gen or no.

Buddy, in real life, vehicles don't have HP... And I have ARMA2, and the AI does care for its life. I don't know what you are smoking, but it is excellent AI. It glitches, but all AI glitches in a sandbox environment.

Not...even close :lol: Really? Not even close? Name five games which are better than it than. Heck, even three. :|burnout paradise doesnt use licensed cars though. There is a limit to the damage that can be done to the cars due to licensing agreements. The cant crumple the cars. But scratches, dings, paint scraps, and missing bumpers/mirrors/windows is apparently ok.You should've linked this video instead.

if we are going by all time im gonna go out on a limb and say Road Rash and Burnout 2 just stomp it and piss on its ashes imo.
But i can see where he is coming from i mean the physics are realistic but its little simple things that also help add to the total realistic vision of the game itself in essence all those small things add up when you really think about it but nonetheless its still a good game.

well according to GS the only racing game better than forza 3 is test drive le mans for the dreamcast which got 9.6linky
how's the environmental destruction? that's usually something i find lacking. Like busting down buildings and walls with grenades or tank shells. xD now tbh that is pretty goddamn epic when some lems are saying its the best.I dunno whether to laugh horrendously or hold up a massive flame shield or hid in a bunker and watch the damage control ensue.
