Too bad Sony doesn't have a 1080P 60fps racer to compare it to.
GT6 is 1080P 60fps , on the PS3 , so compare this Xbone game to a last gen game.
Is mighty impressive what they did with the PS3 version, really showing how powerful the PS3 was compare to the xbox 360....
As it stands, performance seems to hinge on the use of four elements: dynamic lighting, the amount of cars on-screen, utilisation of the cockpit view, and weather effects. GT6 includes an updated real-time lighting solution designed to allow for realistic time of day changes. While this feature was already present in Gran Turismo 5 to a limited degree, GT6 sees this extended across a wider variety of circuits.
One piece of DF on GT dynamic lighting and weather.
The cockpit and dynamic weather, also present in GT5, continue to negatively impact the engine's ability to reach its 60fps objective. When all of these elements are combined we encountered frame-rates that can reach the low 40s in 1080p mode. Interestingly, despite these performance issues, Polyphony Digital insists on updating all reflections and mirrors at the same rate as the game itself. Games such as Forza 5 actually decouple these elements and display them at a variable frame-rate - no doubt in order to help maintain a solid frame-rate elsewhere.

GT6 >>>>>>>> Forza 5 and 6...lol
Dynamic lighting for day to night transition,Dynamic weather to,2 things Forza 6 lack as neither effect is dynamic.
The game is 1440x1080p and runs mostly at 60FPS with drops that go inbetween 40's and 60 while having 16 cars.
Considering this game is done on a last gen platform,i don't even know how they freaking achieve dynamic lighting for day and night and dynamic weather to at 1440x1080p and still be able to hit between 40 and 60 FPS at worse case scenario,Polyphony really kicked Turn 10 ass when it comes to making most out of your hardware,so badly that still Forza 6 which is the 3rd forza game on xbox one features no dynamic weather or night races.
