I'm tired of you lemmings claiming that, it does not, I repeat, does NOT do what GT does better than GT, it's graphics can't compare, the gameplay can't compare, let me break it down...

Lemmings, will disagree with me no matter what, why?Because it's a 360 flagship title....you have to support it, even if you hate it, it's gotten acclaimed reviews, so even if you didn't play it you'll hype it..

If you want to go by scores, Forza 2 got better than Gran Turismo, does that make it better? If so, MGS4 is better than anything on wii or 360 exclusives, because it got a 10 and a better score than any wii/360 exclusive, so, if you support the better score equals superior logic, we still get the best game ever...

First, graphics, GT4 is better than Forza 2....and 1

Gran Turismo 4 *PS2 Game*

GT4GT4GT4

GT4

Now for Forza 2 *360 Game*

Forza 2forza 2

Forza 2

Ok, so two arguments invalidated, score, which if you use the score logic mgs4 is better than any exclusive on 360/wii since it got a higher score than any of them....graphics, GT4, not even 5, already stomps or highly compares to a 360 racing flagship title....

GT4 had like 750 cars and like 75 tracks *I didn't unlock all tracks, so I'm not exactly sure how many they have, I know they have allot though*

I hear forza 3 will have 400 cars and 100 tracks, and lemmings are now saying it's the best racing sim ever...WRONG, GT series is the best racing series when it comes to simulation.REAL race car drivers use it to practice, I've seena video before gt4's release, does forza series have that support?Do real race car drivers use it to practice?GT4 already stomped on forza 3, and only had one disk, and more cars and stuff than forza, the reason for forzas 2 disk is for online play I assume though, so who knows the reason, but anyway, GT4 stomps on forza with content, simulation *everyone knows that*, and overall does what forza does better in every way, only candle forza has over gt is car damage, and I've played the demo, damage doesn't effect gameplay at all until you really smash the car up, and the cars eventually dissapear and re-appear back on the track if you take to much damage by magic, so much for racing sim.....AND the damage is the same for all vehichles, whats the point of that?A sim isn't for crashing.....

GT4 had snow, canyon, dirt rally and street levels, forza didn't contain all that....

And to those who say GT5P is a demo, consider it a demo more content than Forza, better graphics than forza, and superior simulation, dang, I can buy a demo for 40 bux that can completely beat a real game?lol, isn't that a good thing? It already stompts on forza, so the real game will murder forza, all on one disk...

GT5 will have graphics, simulation damage *Not just cheap stuff falling off*, physics as with every other game in the series, online, photo viewer and everything, more cars, more tracks, even BETTER graphics, it just keeps getting better and better...

And to all who say GT4 didn't have unique cars, just 750 of the same thing, GT had more unique cars than the whole entire Forza game, so we get unique cars and specificly altered cars that handle differently...

Don't forget GT's superior car tuning, you can control traction, literally everything from inside out about a car, shocks, EVERYTHING, except you can't paint the cars, but I don't consider that a drawback because I couldn't care less about that feature, but that's just me...

Oh, well, atleast forza has painting a car and damage right? That really makes up for the new iteration having less content than GT4, because, after all, racing sims are all about crashing! Not having skill and racing to the finish line without crashing! Also don't forget painting cars! That hands down makes the entire series worth it....

Forza's actual driving physics are better. Ditto for the customization, suspension settings and etc. That's all that's better for me, really. GT has always been prettier, and always will be.

If you're up for a laugh, read his description of the 'simulation' aspects.

I disagree, I've always felt Gran Turismo's cars handled best. Forza has an edge on customization, obviously.

If you honestly believe GT4 looks better then Forza 2, you pretty much killed all the credibility of this thread.

Not sure about Forza 1, but Forza 2 definently has more tuning options then GT4.

I agree with you fully, just tone it down a little. The GT series has and always will be better than the Forza series

As a big fan of the GT series I think that Forza beats it hands down. One of the reasons I got an original xbox was for Forza and I havn't looked back. Forza is better in every way (except replays, they suck).

oh, gt's cars handle better, but forza's handle more like the ones in real life do =P it's noticably easier with all assists off in GT to do something simple like.. keep traction, which is actually pretty trick on a track depending on the car.

Exactly.....I love how he chose to use PHOTO mode shots from GT4 when we all know that they look 10x better then the game actually looks running.

btw OP.....gameplay is where it counts and NO console racer compares to the physics and handling of Forza2. Not even your precious GT5p. :|

The Grand Turismo series taught me that if you want to win races in real life, you should just bounce off the rails like a bumper car.

GT, the REAL racing simulator.

It's quite clear thats a simple fangirl comment that knows nothing about motorsport.

Im a massive GT fan always have been but GT4 or GT5:P are not as good as forza 2.

Turn Ten has proper motorsport drivers working for them, and proper race drivers use forza 2 also to learn tracks, they dont play the games to get better at motorsport they play them as it helps to memorize the tracks, they actually drive real cars to improve there skills.

Forza 2 has a proper damage model and when its set to sim damage a little fender bender will cause some sort of damage, read up on it theres actaully allot of parts effected through damage(not including cosmetic damage) brakes/suspension/aerodynamics/steering/engine etc etc etc.

The Physics in forza 2 is easily the best physics model in a racing sim on consoles.

Forza 2 graphics are better than GT4's(obviously) try using in game shots instead of sprouced up replay/photo mode shots.

There are allot more car settings in forza 2 than any other console sim, check them out you can adjust just about everything from downforce/cam settings/brake settings/gears etc etc etc.

It's all a matter of opinion but any real non biased motorsport gaming fan knows forza 2 has set the benchmark for a next gen racing sim and GT5:P doesnt come anywhere close, the graphics are nice but the AI is better on forza 2/physics are better/customization is better on forza 2, it is the best next gen racing sim, the fact you can still bang into a car on GT5:p to slow you down and overtake is pathetic, it calls itself "the realdriving simulator" but yet things like that take allot away from the simulation, it was acceptable before forza set the benchmark.

Basicly you can tell this fangirl read about forza 3 got a twist in his panties went online and made crap up, again the comment about cars disapering is nonsense have you even played forza 2, if you crash you need to drive back on the road yourself theres no "re-spawning".

Im sure the proper GT5 can get GT back on top if they fix a few things but most your comments are obviously made from a fangirl in denial, im pleased i own all systems i can play both of these great franchises without having to convince myself the other is crap.
