Make her one. ;)

Funny stuff and she's getting what she deserves. Seeing all these Mass Effect fans raid her book reviews like that makes me wonder who started it and how it blew up like that. Was the idea formed on a Bioware board? If so, I will post the same thing I said in another thread with the same topic.
Why don't we, SW, ever go cause mayhem? We never go out together!!
And on the boards of the book, I checked out a topic and a poster by the name of T. Menke described it best:
...A number of the reviews wished violence upon her, which is simply unacceptable. A lot of the customer images people posted were annoying and tasteless. Let's admit it, the initial idea was great, but it got out of hand fast. All it serves is for some pundit to come along and cherry pick the tasteless reviews and paint her as a victim and reinforce the idea the gamers are nothing but thugs.

I can agree with that part.
Actually after I saw that news cast I was thinking up arguements to challenge her at, but I can't really find a way to challenge her on national tv, can I?Such childish and overly defensive actions simply give the conservative cranks more ammo against us. The better response would be to challenge them in an intelligent debate, their arguments are like a glass house in a quarry and can be demolished in seconds. Sometimes gamers do themselves and gaming a great disservice, the lack of real debate and discussion among gamers is one of the main unspoken reasons why games are still seen as throw-away entertainment.

[QUOTE="Ninja-Vox"](Insert Fox joke here)Serves her right for agreeing to appear on a television show regarding a topic she knows jack about. :|
I mean, what where Fox thinking having a panel of people discuss a video game, none of whom know anything about video games?

As much as she deserves it, I can't say I'm a fan of angry-nerd vigilante justice. It comes across as petty and childish and is the type of thing that causes people like Lawrence to believe all gamers are either a) 13 year old kids or b) 32 year old virgins living in their mom's basement.
Is it so unreasonable, I mean she was given the oppurtunity to have that bs broadcasted I doubt one of us will ever get that chance. If only it was like a call in show, she would have been pwned :P
lol, they took down the reviews of her other books, but the ones for the first book are back up.
Found this online...
I'm glad this happened to her. She is just another one of Fox Noise's fake professionals they have on call that come on the air and pretend they know what they're talking about. This woman probably got her degree from either one of those questionable internet universities that offer doctorate degrees in 1 year or she bought it from a guy who specializes in fake forms of ID behind the local 711.
Being an actual psychologist in training I can say that Mass Effect(which I have played unlike someone) would have no adverse affects on even a child as young as 8. Yeah there is a little bit of nudity but this is the least of a parent's concerns when worrying what is going to effect him/her. This kids friends, teachers, and most of all, parents are more likely to screw them up versus a 1 1/2 second clip of an alien chick's bare ass.
Continue to give this fraud hell people!
