lol, well Tekken has always had some quirky characters in the mix. Especially Tekken 3/Tag, there was a pint-sized dinosaur and a parapalegic without his wheel chair.

Similar to Tekken 5, the game will feature lots of customization ala Soul Calibur and Virtua Fighter. You'll be able to purchase items like those cat paws for your character. :D

In TK5 you were allowed to cusomize your character's outfit. As you can see in each screenshot each person is customized (going off TK5 palletts). A neat little trick you will notice is the Anna shoe flying off. It's the new projectile system TK6 will have. Should be fun.

i really like the fighting and the game play in tekken but i really hate the art style...

2 or 3 characters look good but the rest just look like in a carnival

tekken is actually a very good fighter to start with.

my second fighter was tekken3 .. .and it wasnt too hard at all ...

mortal kombat was first of course.

It looks like you are into 2D fighters. 3D fighters are slightly different but a game like Tekken started off as a 2D with 3D graphics so you should be able to pick it up pretty quick. Being able to sidestep around people will be the major skill you have to learn. Welcome to next gen fighting kid!

Namco is thinking about the Wii port. Cross your fingers and hope it happens. :)

well its been a huge question to lemmings since they can't comprehend the word 'exclusive' ... but to anyone else with half a brain ... yes ... it is exclusive to the ps3 and arcade.

Actually no, it's multi-plat for the PS3 and the Arcade. No word on other systems.

4 months was random, but it was not a year, and I can promise you that. I remember the thread quite well, when Panzer, Kage53, Shungnustasu and DementedDragon was schooling you on pass fighters. I would say it was around the beginning of the summer, when I started using this site.I was actually happy for you getting into fighter that's why I remember it so well. This game is going to kick ass and with online play it will kick even more ass. I expect Street Fighter IV to come out later as nothing has really been shown. So I'm excited that we will have a little bit of a stretch run in between the release of some big name fighters. Lets not forget Soul Calibur 4.

Lastly you know if Capcom is coming through with Street Fighter IV SNK will have to have an answer as well. KOF is good but its about time they ditched the old sprites and shake the whole game up imo.
