This thread is like saying, "Which system is the best?" Or "Which system does *insert game title* play the best one?" And then all the fanboys will come and post the game representing their system.
They're all great games for different reasons... I'm pretty sure the TC made this thread cause he saw an old GamePro cover from back when H2, KZ & MP2 came out. Then again, it wouldn't be anywhere near the first time people have tried to make these IPs rivals.
I don't think that there is any comparison. I like fps, have a 360 and wii, wasn't impressed by either of their respective games so I don't have either, but playing KZ2 at a friend's house was awesome, almost enough to make me trade in my 360 for a ps3(especially since I like no 360 exclusives), but in the end I kept the 360 (still not sure why)
I think it's funny that most of the arguing here isn't about the "Which is better" question posted by TC, but about what genre MP3 falls into. I'm going to agree with people who say it doesn't count as a FPS. For Halo 3 and Killzone 2, the large majority of the game centered around the shooting while in MP3 is centered around the exploration, something like an adventure game. It's fair to call MP3 a hybrid of an action/adventure game and an FPS, but it's leaning more heavily towards being an action/adventure title. A gun and a first-person persepctive doesn't make a game necessarily be about its shooting.
Anyway, to answer TC's topic. It's close between MP3 and Halo 3 for me. I had a blast with both and they offered very different experiences, but ultimately I played through Halo 3's campaign twice while never finding myself going back to MP3, so I had to vote for Halo.
