I think I took this before, forgot what I got, but I know I messed up on the same one I did the time before, the helicopter 10/11 for me.
10/10, then it froze...
If people can't tell, especially on a fullscreen game, you are blind as a bat.
0/11 because 60fps isn't noticeable. The human eye can't see pass 30 fps. It's also not cinematic. Unless you are playing a shooter then 30fps is better. A game is also not smoother with a higher framerate. 60fps is fake and overrated. Anyone who says 60fps is better is lying. LIES ALL LIES!!!!! I will never ever believe you. 30fps cinematic black bars FTW. Didn't we already take this test couple months back here on SWs?

That's hilarious! Sarcasm is the best teacher.

Ha, that's the same one I missed.
The TMNT is one I messed up on b/c it was so dark. The other I think was some 3rd person game that was dark as shit too.
I think I'm broken, I just took it on a Chromebook, got 5/11. I'd say 3 of the 11 seemed obvious for me, but the rest were mostly a guess.
I think this is good news though! When my graphics card becomes outdated and cant keep 1080p/60fps, I can survive with just 30fps and keep ultra settings on!
The hardest for me was the helicopter flight sim part. The chopper was so far above the ground it's much harder to notice higher framerates. This is why I sometimes lock FSX at just 24 - 30 fps at flight level.
11/11 That was really easy. Took about 2-3 seconds for most. The only one that took a bit of a time to figure was the one in the helicopter probably because the cockpit ( aka non moving parts ) was taking 60-70% of the screen
Everyone on here is lying about their scores. The human eye can't see above 24 FPS. Everyone knows this.
This really highlights how little 30/60 fps matters as long as it's constant. It's nice in racing games and fast paced shooters but outside of that I couldn't possibly care less.
Did this earlier today, but pretty sure this has come up before. It was pretty easy though, I just picked the one I couldn't see
LMAO!!! Nice.
13/13
I noticed if I was looking at the 30fps video, the other one in my peripheral vision looked the same, but if I looked at the 60fps video, the 30fps one looked like a choppy slideshow. Anybody else notice that?
yep, thats how it was for me
I got 12 out of 13, one of the dark ones through me off, its pretty noticeable though.
Seriously, how do people screw this up? The difference is almost night and day, save for maybe 1 or 2 where there are little moving parts, and even then it only took maybe another 3 seconds of looking to be 100% sure. The difference is extremely noticeable when you move the camera.
However, I will admit there is one thing that makes this test far easier than it could be, and that is because we are COMPARING framerates, not actually looking at one picture and saying "oh that is 30fps" or "oh yeah that's 60fps". I reckon if you just showed one video rather than two and asked the person to say if it was 30fps or 60fps, the scores on average would be a bit lower. Either way, solid proof that there is a clear difference between the two.
got 13/13 and i used firefox. Only the first helicopter game took me over 10sec to spot because they weren't turning the camera much, the rest were all spotted in 5-7sec. You need to be blind or not understand what to look for not to notice huge difference.
I got 13/13 with Firefox. If you've played PC games at 60fps and you've played console games at 30fps then 60fps, you can see and feel the difference. The Last Of Us Remastered, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, and Borderlands all feel much better due to improved visuals and 60fps.
I'm playing Bloodborne right now and loving it, but there are framerate drops into the 20s and it's noticeable. I never played Dark Souls 2, but I'm considering picking up the remaster just to play something like Bloodborne at 60fps (FYI, I don't think my PC can run DS2). Hell, playing on a PC you can feel a definite difference between 45 and 60.
