Franchise(s) that you wish would just die

I personally think Tony Hawk games have been going nowhere for the last 3 or 4 years... and this is coming from someone who has the first 8 Tony Hawk games. (THPG doesn't interest me)

On top of that, Skate makes that whole series feel stale in comparison. What franchise or franchises do you think should die?

Any true gamer would have to admit it's only the trash Multiplatform games that need to die. Tony Hawk is a perfect example, especially after skate.

Anyone who says Final fantasy obviously haven't played the games and need to STFU. They have nothing to do with each other(other than X & X2).

Sonic should be put out to pasture.

How about sports games? I mean, why not just work on one version really hard, then release updates every now and then to keep it fresh...or maybe 2 per gen, instead of milking the holy hell out of people.Kahuna_1

Well Madden this year clearly was not a rehash with it's 'weapons' feature. An 8.5 proves it.

anyone who thinks final fantasy is the same each time has obviously never played more than one final fantasy.

All Sports games, Dynasty Warriors, Mario Parties... not much else I can think of. Maybe Tony Hawk games.
I would say generic shooters, but that isn't a franchise.

Mario is the biggest milked franchise EVER!!!!!!! But I don't want it to die.

And I can't think ofa franchise I want dead. People enjoy alot those I hate BIG TIME!!!! Example: Final Fantasy but I don't want it to die cause some people enjoy those....games.

Yea, they're only on their fourth game, and technically third real one(most don't count 3) and they completly redefined the game for the latest installment. I dont see any milkage at all.

Because i'm not an idiot like most of the population of system wars, and If you don't like a genre, your definatly not going to like the game. It's just preferance, like me saying MGS are some of the worst games I've played.

Pokemon. Honestly it such a simple game and the core gameplay has BARELY changed since Blue/Red its rediculous.

i dislike final fantasy but i like jrpgs like xenogears and persona 3. is it so wrong?
