I wish Nvidia would release Freesync compatability. Nobody is going to buy their overpriced Gsync BS. Their laptops already use Freesync. Just release a patch for desktop GPUs.

Just hitting 48 fps won't make much of a difference either. The whole point of Freesync is to make fps drops less noticeable by covering up the screen tearing that occurs. It's meant for systems running 60 fps, for example, that occasionally drop into the 50s. If games drop below the 48 fps threshold at any point, it completely defeats the purpose of Freesync.
on Xbox its mostly going to be used to give gamers the option of unlocking frame rates when games can reach over 30 FPS and under 60 FPS.
This is Freesync 2, and it’s for consoles. Whatever rules apply to Freesync on PC, don’t apply to Freesync 2 on consoles
