From a pc gamer: help me decide which console to buy

If you have media center on your PC, get a 360... it does some really cool stuff with PCs if you're rockin' media center. I can't live without it now... I use it every day.donalbane

if your talking about sharing and playng media thats on your pc on a console

both the ps3 and the wii can play the media of your pc on them, for the ps3 you need the last firmware and well hmm a psp =p, and for the wii you need to isntall a software called Orb on your pc share some files then log into their website from your wii.

What? COD 2 can't be called a shooter at all, it's a primitive shooting gallery. Halo 2 blow away HL2 in any point, starting from A WAY better AI and so on.

yeah..so only AI matters? Then FEAR annihilates Halo2 I guess :D Everthing is better in HL2 besides AI. Graphics, storyline, level design, variety, music, gameplay...everything is much higher quality in Hl2. Halo2 doesn't even belong in top10 best shooters last gen

wait it just crossed me, wasnt halo about the incredible Multiplayer experience? i dont see how AI matters on here, and yes Master Cheif is a very compeling customized and unique character with amazing background =p much better then that random Half life guy

Cool tempered and good under pressure. Even their suits kind of resemble each other. But which one came first? Oh yeah.

Gordon was definitely a unique character, with MUCH more depth of background. Background for MC = Good warrior guy, lawl!

Kinda jumped in on the middle of this.

Don't you guys think it is kind of ironic that the beginning of Halo 1 is almost identical to Half-Life 1?? What with obtaining the suits and whatnot, then being attacked and stuffs. Halo 1 was a lot less in depth and through you right into the mayhem though...didn't really understand what was happening...

Half-Life 2 was/is the best 1st person shooter your money could buy. And Counter strike:source is the best multiplayer game you'll ever play.imo

But to the topic, I say if you got the money to get PS3 then I think its the obvious choice. Cant really think of reason why you would want 360 if your already knee PC gamer, since most of their exclusives are/will be available on PC., something you cant say about the PS3.

AI in FEAR is worse then Halo 2, actually it doesn't too exciting. I don't care what are you playing at all, the taste or absence of taste in games is a personal matter.

As a PC gamer with 15 years gaming experience and a big shooter lover I say PC is dead to the moment. MO games and RTS - all that left.

I love HL2, but there are IMO better SP FPSes avaible :)

System Shock 2, Deus Ex, No One Lives Forever, No One Lives forever 2, Undying.

AI in FEAR is worse then Halo 2, actually it doesn't too exciting.

GEOW, Forza 2, Mass Effect, Too Human, Fable 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars, PGR4 are not on the PC. Get the 360 you will not regret it.

Get a 360 if you cant wait for the timed exclusive's...

PS3 if you want a few different exclusives and a blu-ray drive...

Wii if you want games that dont take there self's too seriously...
