From what you've seen about the Xbox Series X, will you be purchasing it?

XB1 sales, worldwide, sit somewhere between 40 to 50 million by most estimates, usually around 41 mill.

PS4 sales have topped 100 million.

In all fairness, some of us have a decent PC and it doesn't help the fact MS now supports PC by porting their games on it and "if" that wasn't the case, I would have likely to purchase Xbox Series X just to play the next Halo game. PC gaming is now on the rise and owning an Xbox Series X doesn't do justice hence the response in this thread. But at the same time, we have dedicated console gamers who aren't into PC will be the one's purchasing it. PS5 is another story.

I wish MS good luck on their Xbox Series X success.

As of now, no. The X1 was a let down for me after having and expecting what the 360 offered the generation before. Maybe MS will make better games this gen, but they have to prove it to me in order to get my money. I'll probably go PlayStation/Nintendo next gen and not worry about MS until the end of the gen, if at all.

No. I have a PC and furthermore Xcloud will further forces xbox series x into irrelevancy. Its crazy that people still excited for a new xbox when options exist that can easily replace it.

I have been a big fan of gamepass and how Microsoft has been going in the last couple years.

But I need to see the ps5 and the prices. I might get the Xbox at launch. And the ps5 down the road at a cheaper price to play the exclusives. Since most of the Sony games are single player and I don’t have to worry about an online community/population.

A yes from me. It's gonna be fully backwards compatible day one, has INSANE technical specifications, especially for a console, and it already has Halo infinite confirmed as a launch title. On top of that, MS' recent moves indicate top quality 1st party games.

I'm a PC gamer so I don't need an Xbox.

Day one purchase, I've had every generation of xbox since it's inception but this generation I sold my xbox once I played all the high profile exclusives once the drought hit (after titanfall, ori, sunset, gears4, etc) and stuck with ps4 and switch due to xbox's lack of exclusives. I have high hopes next gen and am looking forward to jumping back into the xbox fray. (along with the ps5 of course!)

I own the original xbox, the 360 and the xbox one x. Chances are high that I will get the new xbox a year after release or so. Might take a few years longer if Microsoft fu☆☆s up the launch like they did with the xbox one.

Probably not. Last Xbox I have is the original. Not that I dislike them, the brand is getting better and better every year. I just don't need to own a Xbox anymore.

No. The Xbone was a huge disappointment with no games.

Only game I liked was Quantum Break and Forza. So I can play those on PC if I really wanted too.

I just don’t have the desire anymore. Too many Forza games anyway. Could never actually finish one before the next one came out.

Prefer Gran Turismo’s release dates. Few and far between works better for me.

I don't game on PC so probably. Game pass is just too good.
