Fun to be a lemming or cow, lousy to be a sheep

At least lemmings and cows can argue back and forth about all the great games being reviewed on each of the systems these days.

Sheep have nothing to be proud of except for mabye games like world of goo but that is all they can count on is Wii Ware because everything else lately has sucked.

I am currently playing: Dead Space, Little Big Planet and BioShock. Tomorrow I will be playing Resistance 2.

What are sheep playing. Oh yeah! Nothing good lately but at least it is selling well.

My point is complaining about games like Mario and Zelda and the other Nintendo games being "utter, rehash trash" like Cloud Insurance suggested is pointless seeing as thats what many game series are like. There's a problem with people saying things like "the Metroid series uses the exact same forumla therefore it's bad" and completely ignoring all the other game series that do the exact same thing no matter how long the series has been out.

All of the Nintendo's mainstays have been dead since the SNES and in some cases the N64.

How anyone supports that company by continuing to give them money when they so blatantly disregard progress in gaming is disgusting.

Well I've had the wii for over a year and half and it was good Brawl,Loz,Galaxy,Re4 and Mario Kart but those are really the only games i liked so far and i just bought an xbox 360 last week and its been great. The wii is a cool system but its got **** games on it thats all there is to it and if people made more good games for it they'd be making a lot of money considering all the people who own it so lets hope 2009 is a better year for the wii.

Animal crossing for GC was amazingly fun but are you seriously going to spend $50 on basicly no changes what so ever???

I wish the new AC is a great game but face the facts its the same game with SLIGHTLY better graphics not even a huge leap there and the original was made for N64...

Nintendo really needs to make more games targetted towards mature audiences. Galaxy, Mario Kart, and Zelda are fun and all but but to see a game like the Witcher and Dead Space on the wii would definately peak my interest.

While I don't agree that universally the Wii lineup for the rest of 08-09 will all suck, I do agree that personally, compared to the 360/PS3/PC offerings, it is horribly lacking and has little grounds for competition.

Over the past couple of months, I've forgotten I even had a Wii and with the way things are going, I'll have to buff and shine the thing to get remove all the dust that its going to collect.
