Fun to be a lemming or cow, lousy to be a sheep

Well they can be playing de blob, the new Strongbad or Tetris Party all good games. Then there is TofS 2 coming out on the 11th.

I agree that the Wii's holiday lineup is dissapointed, even more if we consider that this could be the best holiday season in gaming history. Every company has something big to show, only Nintendo doesn't, what is a big dissapointment.

Still, this year lineup (until now) hasn't been - by no means- as bad as some people want to beleive. It has been a "solid" year, with great games like SSBB or MKWii, and nice surprises like NMH or Wario Land. And the 2009 is looking incredible.

How anyone supports that company by continuing to give them money when they so blatantly disregard progress in gaming is disgusting.

So now only original IPs are good? Mario 64 is the same as Mario Galaxy? Zelda: A Link to the Past is the same as Zelda: Twilight Princess?

The reason Nintendo continues to make Mario and Zelda and remake old IPs is because they sell well. They sell well because the games are good and people enjoy them. Why wouldn't you continue to make more?

You're missing the point of it. It's not meant as a typical game, it's more of a Motion Plus tech demo. And Motion Plus will be sexy awesome.

When games are multiplatform, I have factors in deciding to play it on. Is it worth it? How are the visuals? Can it run on my PC/laptop? How are the controls for both? etc. These factors make the difference. Of course I wouldn't mind paying for Dead Space on the PS3, the way I see these visuals on my PC, I would love to see it in HD.

It's funny, because lately I've been playing a lot of Nintendo games, Brawl on the Wii, MK/Melee on the GC, and even the original Smash on the N64. My dorm is so awesome.

Oh yeah, I also preordered Left4Dead, and downloaded a bunch of PC demos for games like, ironically, Bioshock. Man, it sure sucks to be me. :(

That doesn't matter. Just because the Tom Clancy's End War PS3 Bundle comes with the Official PS3 Headset doesn't mean it's a tech demo where you throw a frisbee for a dog.

Anyway, the WiiMotion Plus should have been there from the start, and now Nintendo are making you pay for it.

At least lemmings and cows can argue back and forth about all the great games being reviewed on each of the systems these days.

Sheep have nothing to be proud of except for mabye games like world of goo but that is all they can count on is Wii Ware because everything else lately has sucked.

I am currently playing: Dead Space, Little Big Planet and BioShock. Tomorrow I will be playing Resistance 2.

Is Gear of War 1 and Resistance an older idea? Yes.

Is Gears of War 2 and Resistnace 2 a reworked and used again version of Gear of War 1 and Resistance 1? Yes.

And your arguement is they aren't rehashes because they're only two years old? I wasn't aware there was a set amount of time between games before the term 'rehash' could be used on its sequel.

As for the R2 game, I'd love to hear how the two are different. It'd give me a reason to pick up a new game, but are you telling me the experience is completely new and there is more to the game than picking up weapons and shooting aliens before they shoot you? Cuz so far, I haven't seen anything to suggest otherwise.

i enjoyed a couple of those titles for the wii that are coming out. mostly the sword games and punch-out. but leave wii music, resort, sonic the **** back in the scrap heap.

All consoles have their bad games. Just ignore them. Don't hate on a console because it has bad games yet it also has great games that you want. The bad games don't define the console, the good ones do, and in SW, the Wii is defined by the bad games, people don't look at the good ones.
