I agree to a point but she is obviously not on G4 for her journalism skill. She wasn't great in her debut on daily show either but that one is my opinion, has she been confirmed to be on board or is she still on trial?

That show was also called Electric Playground. That was my favorite show on G4. It always disappointed me that they kept Xplay but got rid of that.NeoStar9

Yeah. Becuase X-play was always the humorous review show and Judgement day was always the more seriousone. But since G4 lost money they chose X playto take care off all the video games segments(because I'm assuming it had the most views) which left no room for the funny. Which basically made X play into somehting it wasn't supposed to be. That's why everyone is dissapointed with G4 now. 2 shows and the rest crap. All because of budget issuses.

No, she is on G4 because she is hot and because she has a nerdy sense of humour and a frat boy attitude. Then again, I would argue that nobody is hired on to G4 for their journalism skills.

Meh, the only person I really like on G4 at this point is Sessler.

One ineresting thing that came out of the article is how Jaffe claimed they had to lie to keep the game secret. Well, considering they leaked the game was being made at the end of Twisted Metal Head ON...it wasn't very good lying. I said a number of times in other topics that I suspected TM would show up this year. My main reasons were:

1) The secret coming from TM Head on.

2) Jaffe asked about TM making an appearance at last year's E3. At that time he said they were working on the game but he wasn't going to show anything until they were closer to completion. After that he basically hinted it would be more likely they showed something at this E3 instead.

3) Even more recently there was an article where he was asked about TM Harbor City and he went off about how harbor City was cancelled a long time ago. On that thread I pointed out how he never said TM was cancelled, just that the idea for Harbor City was scrapped. So technically not a full on denial of a new PS3 TM game.

So it is interesting Jaffe said he had to lie because I don't think he lied at all. He certainly did his best to spin away rumours, but since the game was already confirmed as being made years ago, it was some pretty bad lying.

Olivia Munn is super hot, and I think she should move on from G4, last week she did a bit on the Daily Show and she nailed it. It showed that she can be funny intentionally and does have personality.

She makes a lot of blunders on AOTS but I think thats some of the charm, Jaffe is Jaffe so really anything could piss him off.

What is terrible about it? She asks all the most relevant questions possible in that short time period. They are able to get some answers to viewers while still keeping it light and fun. What did you expect given the station and the audience? Anderson Cooper interviewing Katrina victims?

second if they get rid of munn, morgan, hayslip and adams i wont watch that show anymore. there basically the reason i still watch the show. no one wants to watch blair and kevin talk about video games every day, who wouldnt get sick of that show in a week. they need the hot chicks to keep your mind from getting sick of 2 nerdy guys talking about nerd stuff.

if anything they need to spring a new show that has more nerd oriented things. the reason they cancelled the other shows is because no one ever watched them, there not going to keep a show on the air when only nine guys have ever seen it.

Yeah. For the socially inept here who enjoy no form of communication with other human beings outside of internet message boards, what you heard during that interview was sarcasm, banter, and teasing. Also her not paying attention to the person she is interviewing is also very unprofessional. It's not as bad as people are making it out to be but yea she needs to keep her focus.

Oh yeah...I forgot to mention....you DO know the part when Adam was here happened AFTER the initial interview? The Daewoo incident went down on the show floor. When Jaffe didnt get Munn's humor, he rudely asked for Morgan in the middle of a live TV interview. Olivia handled herself fairly well, (had it been ME I would've ask "where's Cliffy B, while we're at it"). LOL. After the initial interview the camera cut away quickly, but not before showing a glimpse of Olivia's offended sour look. After the commercial that's when Adam sat down with them and you could tell Olivia had time to absorb and digest the reality of the rudeness that just happened. She was beyond pissed! That's why she mentioned "truthfully I was looking at MORGAN", etc. I didnt see her in Iron Man 2, but she deserves an acting award for keeping her anger and annoyance to a few simply veiled "inside jabs". I am NOT an Olivia fanboy....but I can see why she would've been offended. That's like Jay leno interviewing someone, failing at a joke, and being asked "where's Conan"(on his own show). Simply RUDE. To say "leave all that silly stuff for AOTS"..I agree AND disagree. I can't bring a monkey in my house and get mad when it eats my bananas....nor should I ask a cat to babysit my pet mouse!! If there was a "bad fit" in this case, I'm more inclined to blame the producers for setting it up. Olivia is Olivia, and love her or hate her, you cant be mad at her for being herself in an interview.
